i'm just sayin
all the boys making ye old brostep seem to have dug THIS from transformers:
whereas i was far more into this:
WTF you went to Transformers just to see her? You can look at naked chicks on the internet all day... we are talking about huge robots blowing shit up ffs.
The girls have no taste in music around here unfortunately, they like the brostep. I am moving. Wait I am married what the fuck do I care?
okay. re youtube searches... i get this as number six when i search 'dubstep'
come on! wtf...
joe i know you are right that someone who reads a lot about music will know the big names but to 70% of america dubstep is never going to mean (if anything) more than "filthy wobble bangers" or "dnb 2.0"

Ok all you new producers want to make an impact on the scene and understand that the doors of many established labels are well and truly closed so are going for a real loud in your face sound to get yourself noticed but does it really have to sound SO FUCKING STOOOOPID??
Then theres established names still doing the same old crap as well that sounds pretty fucking stoopid too, I mean I don't have a problem with harsh sounds at all but all this drunk wobble portamento albinoish wobbly basses sliding all over the place like a plastered hobo, the bitcrushed doh-doh's borrowed straight from the most disposable kind of DNB or worst of all the clowny stupid vocals just b4 a drop - big he-man 'huhs' or stupid laughs, real fucking retarded kids TV shite that makes me cringe listening to it as its not even funny
Is there any chance some of you guys can learn some new tricks before you fuck this scene so hard up the arse that it bleeds to death?
sorry but you dont own dubstep, its not yours mate. get over it. if you dont like it fuck off and listen to something else, you tit. i love all types of good dubstep, flux pavilion is brilliant no matter what your shitty opinion is, however kromestar is also magnificent, mala is a god, burial is not of this world, bar 9 makes me want to skank like a motherfucker, you sir need to stop complaining about shit no one cares about.

Lol @ no one cares, 13 pages tell another story
Fair enough, but im sick of this genre being a constant battle between "wobble (Midrange, filth, wonky, jump up)" whatever you want to call it, and basically everything else.
cant everyone just get over it already, no ones killing dubstep. not even mephedrone. Either way theres nothing no one can do about it, i love all styles and listen to whichever suits my mood, i suggest everyone else just does the same and ignores what they don't like instead of going on to some forum and venting about it.

So if I book you in Pittsburgh you will spin the bro then? lol
You can't stop people making music. Yet at the same time there are definitely some weak sounds out there.
But does it matter? At the end of the day, the people who push the sound the most get their dues, and the rest get left in the past...
And the best thing is - You can pick who to go see yourself, so you only have yourself to blame if you end up going to a rave you don't want to be in
I'll stay clear of the jump up though, thanks

people are arguin tht becos of the newer sounds, the 'traditional' dubstep artists dont get booked as much....
2bh that means stop spending so much time whinging on the internet and start promoting nights and booking acts you want to see. buy their vinyls. support the scene, whining on the net wont do shit
as with every genre, you get artists getting through that u might not think deserve to... no reason why dubstep should be any different.
personally i rate any artist who can bring a smile to my face...
