tbf just a bit sick of seeing everyone complaining about it. like yeah, people been waiting on these tunes for a decade but i never expected it to come out so anything's a plus... and it's actually kinda nice to see since i've been put off buying dubstep since the few tunes which i like get rinsed to death as soon as they come out by every single dj

i understand the frustration (and i'm sweating about getting a copy lol) but it fits into BH's way of releasing and will keep the tunes special (which has been said lots as a justification for them not coming out by people on here)

The moment it's released, it will be ripped and plenty of people will have it. If Loefah and co. don't want it to be overexposed, release the tune to a handful of select DJs. IMO either keep it to yourself or press enough to give the people that have waited YEARS a decent chance to own it.

that was aimed at the people who were giving loefah shit for not releasing (some of) his old dubs. of course even now you're not entitled to anything either, however if you do release those tunes, why not do it properly?
signing two of dubstep's biggest anthems to a (techno) label (with a gay name and a german bundesadler as their logo), who clearly are more interested in building up their own hype and creating a novelty item instead of finally giving the fans what they've been longing for for a decade, is a straight piss take. when you willingly accept that you gonna piss off a lot of people who have been supporting your shit for years, just because they might not be able to be online the time it gets released, you shouldn't be surprised when people call you out.

I agree with this. I'll be the first to shut anyone up when they whine about dubplate culture but this has nothing to do with that. This is just some straight hipster bullshit.

miracles rmx is still big though, if a tunes big, it's big imo. Sure it may be boring if you hear it all the time but that's true for every song tbh, it's not like you have to listen to it, and if it comes on during a night I doubt it will be played the entire night, just go like piss or something

nah. antiwar dub was released on vinyl, CD and digital (via mary anne hobb's comp) and has been played by countless djs and remains every bit as special. if a tune needs some publishing tactics to maintain its speciality, then maybe it was just not that special in the first place (not saying midnight isn't).
