Nah i prefer it, anythings better than the original in my eyes. If Doctor P did a remix it would probably be better. Also, someone link me a radio rip or whatever of the version with actual Qawalii or vocals over it (if such a thing exsists)
The version with vocals is released. It was called Brighter Day and was on Underwater Dancehall and will definitely be on YouTube. Also just to clarify, I do like Qawwali but just prefer some other Pinch tracks like Nightmare Part 1, War Dub and Punisher. Actually Nightmare Part 2, his Answer remix and Get Up probably as well. To be honest, other than Qawwali and perhaps Swish more recently I think Pinch is a little underrated as far as the original artists go. Also, there's very few of the older dubstep artists where their biggest tune is my favourite one.

I think Sukh Knight should be up there, too. Ganja and Hands in Your Pockets are both massive.

by far the worst is some of Borgore's shit, a fucking teletubby could make a better tune than him. absolute jokes

I think JuJu and Matty G are also very underrated, just saying. We need to give all of the good US dubstep artists all the credit they need haha.

I was also going to post this abomination in the thread. I'm not usually negative about anything but I cannot believe how horrible this track really is. It's also on that Bing advert on the telly raping my ears.

At the same time it's not really dubstep, it's just a shit pop song with an obnoxious out of time wobble bass. Saying this is dubstep is a bit like saying Madonna does acid house cause Ray of Light has a 303 on it lol.

Qawwali is a masterpiece. In my opinion Pinch is the most talented producer this genre has ever seen.

My two all time favourites would have to be Anti-War Dub (DMZ obviously), and (possibly a slightly odd choice) Walk in the Carpark by Plastician, simply because it was the tune that got me into dubstep.

Current favourite tune though, definitely The Talisman by Kryptic Minds. The bass in that song is fucking righteous.

Worst: 110% of stuff posted on the standard YouTube brostep channels is just a crock of pure, unadulterated shit. Seriously. Fuck off with your "YOY" basses in every single fucking tune. No originality.

I was thinking The same thing. I actually think archangel is a really cool tune. After I totaled my car almost all I listened to was Burial for a week.

Sierra Leone is the best Mt. Eden tune I've heard, and I think its just mediocre, not terrible exactly, although I have heard some really bad Mt. Eden tunes.

Distance makes anything sound good! ;-) But you're right about the vocals.

I can't think of a favorite...but I think one of my most hated is Yinyang by Excision. I cringe.

Best tune(s):

Sukh Knight - Hand Of Buddha (picked because Sukh Knight's a fuckin legend and this is his best tune imo)
Coki - Carbon Aliens (need I say more?)
Phaeleh - Afterglow (so so so chill)
Kromestar - Kalawanji (bass fuckin kicks)

Worst Tune(s):

Flux - Bass Cannon
Borgore - Flex
Doctor P - Sweetshop
Any Skrillex song, bar Reptile which wasn't even dubstep.

Best: Bury Da Bwoy. Ridiculous groove, hypnotic vocals in the back, erie haunting bits, galloping bassline.
Worst: Sierra Leon. Horribly production quality, horrible drums, I can't believe that tune got so much hype...
