@cryokinesis great work on the mastering and working all the sounds together and it fitting nicely!
@ezzcal i can tell theres been alot of effort put into this, and it shows! digging how bouncy it gets at 1.50!
@espy cant beat a bit of dubstep with a proper melody, the synth in the background sounds familar, a bit like midnight request line i think! only thing id work on is mixng your drums over the wobble a bit more, then its all fine and good!
@nnny loving the pads in this, it would be a perfect with a nice reese bass running through it!
@jrisreal - thats a great bare sound you got if its got no effects added onto it, if you got ableton try adding a saturator with it set to soft sine, thatll beef it up a bit, giving you a nice bassline!

heres my latest WIP, the rises/falls need working on, but apart from that, let me know what you think! :)

thanks for the feedback, unfortunately i dont have ableton (i do think i have a plugin with a 'saturator' knob) and the sound does have a few effects, but nothing much...
your song is pretty nice btw. only problem i hear is that your wobble isnt in the mid-section enough. Try layering it with something mid-heavy. I do like the feeling of it. Nice job man

Cheers for the feedback. I absolutely love the piano work in your track, it's top notch. Can't comment on the drop yet as I only have laptop speakers atm, but when I get back to my normal speakers later I'll edit this comment.

@thebasstest - i love that intro and that synth is pretty beasty. nice wobbles haha. also like the synths in the background. i would just like to hear the snare a bit more, make it bit more prominant. but well done, good tune.

@cryokinesis - intro is nice, good build of atmosphere. drop is good aswell :) liking the sample. i just think it needs bit more of a build up before it drops.

@darj - i think the bass synth sounds a bit i dunno...'off' maybe to much reverb or something? lacks the puch it needs.

@jrisreal - i like it mate, sounds proper raw. just get a beat behind it and you could be onto a winner.

heres mine. gone for a chilled burial kinda style. need to know any changes and where to take it? :) cheers guys.

try making the bass heavier more intense or more mid range heavy

@lukeraith - tbh, that intro was lovely, and that drop/bassline totally ruined it. So much emotion/feeling, gone so quickly =\ totally subjective, of course. Bassline feels quite thin.
@sinister - tbh I think you have a lot of good variation in the tune, if not totally predictable. Bass needs more... bass. Sits quite high and sounds like you've eq'd out all the bottom.
@beardyman - good to see someone doing something different, but I found the track on the whole to be rather boring. It doesn't have much progression and generally feels "flat". I also think the minor scale you've used and the note progression lends to that.
@fluidmoshun - that song confuses me, I don't know what's going on. I think it's mostly to do with the percussion. spins me out :)

This is soemthing that's been cooking a while, but pretty happy with it. intro/main hook about 90%:

Hey!
I've been a lurker for about a month... and I've been producing for about a month and a half. :D
(I have been recording music for about a year and a half and messing with FL for about a year)
Anyway switched to ableton and have started making some dub. :D
Only done a few tracks so far...
Tell me what you think of this?

I've picked up alot of tips on this forum on EQing and stuff, wasn't happy with the volume so limited it before normalizing  but it's very early days and I'm still learning

Just to clarify: this isn't finished but structurally it is.. it needs to be remixed, some of the instruments changed? melody added? etc

the percussion in it is really great, but the wobble doesnt do it for me, try adding a bit more melody to it!
