might've mistaken any of the other cc releases as jam city bits if i hadn't known better.. his sound has had a clear influence on that entire series

really? to me it sounds like the cc has that central theme but definitely their own sounds.

wel yeh not every single track of course.. whoosh ice dispenser is unquestionably helix and the lil silva one is very much his variety.. i'm going to have a hard time explaining it really.. that last l-vis release on ns (not cc) also sounded a lot like jam city to me too.. none of this is a bad thing

christ haha.. hopefully you're actually interested in what i'm trying to get at and not taking the piss i'm not entirely sure man... i guess what i took from parts of bokbok's rmba lecture and how he described the ethos and engineering behind the tracks.. when jam city first appeared on the label his tracks seemed very distinctive.. interesting structure, like a series of demos or what have you..
