Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hey what's up guys. I'm new to the Dubstepforum. I've been into this Genre for about half a year. I'm really into Deep Medi and DMZ. My favorite artists are Goth Trad, Mala, and Skream. I am also into UK Bass. like Girl Unit and Addison Groove
Before Dubstep i was into Techno. Like Dustin Zhan, Len Faki, Xhin, Lucy. All that bass music is sick too me
I also mix and began producing not so long ago.
Greetings from South Central(Gutta) Los Angeles, California. all this Dubstep shit is awesome!

Hey everyone.
My name is Søren and I'm one part of the duo Kewlio. We are located in Copenhagen, Denmark and been dj'ing/producing bass music for about 2 years now (I think). We mainly play and produce ragga-dubstep but anything good with a deep bass can be put on the decks.
I stumbled upon the forum because I wanted to vote in the nominations, but Ill guess it'll be next year.

Hi everyone! I'm Corey (my usernames are usually cork279 or ryse), and I'm 15, very close to 16, from England. I produce any electronic, drum&bass and dubstep music. I've been producing music for about 6-7 years now (since I was 8...).
I also enjoy developing video games, so producing video game music is a plus for me
I recently got more equipment (Synthesizer, keyboard, etc) and new software (Acid pro, soundforge, vst plugins, etc), so I can do more.
I've sorta progressed through the music genres. At first I was always into trance I liked music such as Energy 32 Cafe Del Mar, PPK Resurrection, Darude Sandstorm, etc. I then moved on to techno, then to electro house, then to dubstep and drum&bass. Dubstep is pretty much my favourite so far; thus I joined this forum ^^
My favourite dubstep artists right now are Noisia, Skrillex, and a few others...
As most composers probably are, I'm trying to get noticed... It's quite difficult.

Hey everyone.
I make beats and such under the moniker Bro Pass Filter. I've been making beats casually for about 6/7 years, starting on the free version of FL3. I now compose exclusively in Live8. I like to make unusual remixes of pop songs, and try to think outside the box when making bass music. I'm not trying to 'blow up' or anything, I just do it for fun. I joined this forum because I enjoyed the technical discussion regarding mastering and mixing techniques in the technical/hardware board. I found a lot of the discussion there very helpful and informative. Hoping to join in and improve my craft. I would most like to improve my overall sound design with regards to mixing and mastering tracks I make. Cheers!

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Greetings everyone!
I hail to the forum from Idaho and I have been listening to dubstep for quite a while with Benga & Coki's "Night" being the tune that converted me to the genre. I do a couple of podcasts (one featuring chillout and the other featuring dubstep) and in my Dubstep show I feature all sorts of wobble, filth, bass, and darkness.
I've been listening to all sorts of dubstep from Filth Collins to Chaosphere to Datsik to Matt-U to TRG. Lately, the Chestplate crew has been taking my money for the most part. I think what brought me to the genre the most was the flexibility and adaptability of the sound to mix with other genres. I've done shows with a hardstyle feel, heavy metal taste, crunk & hyphy, and also had a tune or two with some Latin influence. I'm curious about the possibility of dubstep mixing with country/western music and I've heard a couple of good ones - Conquest's Change the World and Forsaken's Last Saloon Swagger.
Big up's y'all!

Easy people. I'm a new producer to the scene, I make a lot of different sounds, but mostly Coki/Kromestar/Jakes kind of sounds. Check out my soundcloud: www.soundcloud.com/seraphuk I'm sure you'll find something you like on there. I've got some digital/vinyl releases coming out this year so look out for that! Big up.

Morning everyone.
My name is Sacha. I'm 25 years old. I was born in Spain but I have double id and I live now in Switzerland. I'm Dj'ing on technics turntables since 6 years.
First I've started with industrial hardcore and techno, then i've passed to drum&bass crossbreeds keeping the industrial way, and now I like to play dubstep. Any kind of it. Nowadays I still play everything.
I like electronic music in general. I like to follow pages like electronic explorations, or FACT mag.
I've made a post on vinyl mixes: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.p ... 9&start=40
if you want to check me out there it is.
I'm not shy to say hello someway...
Glad to meet everyone.

Hey all! My name is Nate and I'm from the United States. the huge influx of dubstep here brought me to this site. Im a musician, originally solely a singer and shred guitarist. Im a huge fan of metal music, but as of late I've been massively interested in dubstep. Those grimy, heavy bass lines really bring me into the zone. That same filth that metal has really drew me to this genre too. Ive been producing for like... a few weeks now. I have been self teaching and watching youtube videos. I use FL Studio and massive mostly. I'll be posting often in the production spot, as I really want to get good at this. Ive experimented with electro before, and I'm stoked to work on dubstep now that it's in its prime. Peace guys!

Hello my name is Ben and I'm a Dubstep-aholic.
Been Dub Stepping around London for a while now. I'm also openly into Bro Step, and find myself liking it more the people moan about it 'not being dubstep'.
I particularly like any artists represented by Circus (The Fluxman.)
when i make dubsteps, I make my dubsteps on Ableton (& massive)
