i've got every catering/bar industry job i've interviewed for :6:

in that industry tho i reckon people pick on looks all the time. not saying that's why i get jobs, but any idiot can work in a pub, sexy people bring the punters in.

that said, i can't and refuse to do the "flirt with the punters" thing, cos i can't flirt to save my life and they're all old and letchy and it's fucking grim
tbf though flirting can just be smiling a lot and leaning forward a bit

my mate came out with a couple misguided gems in regards to women last night.

"mate, she's so fit nowadays" - about some distinctly average looking, and annoying girl who has just had a boob job.
whilst discussing how women pay a lot of attention to men that buy expensive clothes:
"women having expensive taste is all the matters really"

Really mate? really? I wonder about him sometimes. Good luck in your search for the most fake, materialistic accessory for your arm bredda.

Fucking boss guilt tripped me into working until 1.30pm today... I didn't want to work at all, but he made out like he'd got loads of people missing so I agreed to an early start and an early finish so I could get to BrisFest. It's now gone 3.30pm and I'm still fucking here and can't leave until a major issue gets sorted because I'm the only person that knows the product... FUCK THIS I WANT TO WATCH BONG RA.

Since i was a littl'n , i had been dreaming about having a computer that could play games less than three years old, i used to scrape together bits and pieces and invested in stuff like ram and video cards, having no idea what i was doing, and never managed to play a game less than two years older than the pc. Now i actually have a sick PC that can play the latest games on maximum settings but i don't care about video games anymore and i've grown out of them and finally having this PC isn't very satisfying. This is sad, if i had this as a kid i probably wouldn't have been so bored and miserable... #teenproblems

"A gaming sub for people who wait 6-18 months to play a game because they won'tcan't pay full price, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases."

I'm just about to get Crysis, bit more than a few months! What's the most demanding game out there right now, wanna see if i can play it.

my mate wants to do a collab and asked for some "really depressing vocals" so i spent a few hours of the evening wandering around westfields stratford with the first burial album on (DON'T do that), noting down lyrics (that i thought of, not lyrics from the tunes). now i'm in a bad mood  there's some fuckin dark shit in there.

yeah, but it's beautifully dark. I think kode9 described it as "downcastedly euphoric" (actually that may have been the second lp)

i mean the lyrics that i wrote not the burial album, which i didn't criticise at all, it's perfect. i used to be comforted by depressing music, god knows there must have been some reason i listened to all that smiths and radiohead  but now i just find it very stark

I feel you, if I listen through an entire burial lp I'll come out with all sorts of odd emotions lol
