If they were just my housemates, this is what I'd be doing... unfortunately, I've known her half my life and we used to date as teenagers. Since we've shared a place, we've pretty much always been coupled-off so none of our new boyfriends/girlfriends ever had a chance to feel threatened, but I'm conspicuously single and chirpsing everything in sight right now... so I'm fulfilling duties as her "go to" for advice whilst trying to reassure him she's not on my hitlist.
