That MssingNo tune; Play Round is super sick. Got so much love for his music as a whole really.
Soundcloud
The mix features tunes from Gorgon Sound, Dark Tantrums, Headhunter, Proxima, Commodo, Silkie, and many more. I hope you enjoy the vibes. :)

XE2 is the best MssingNo track I've heard. Swear down, loads of it just sounds like a lot of the future garage stuff to me (pitched up vocals, RnB samples, "colourful" synths, similar basses), which I'm guessing a lot of bods in here weren't keen on at all

Dunno, I can listen to it, and don't mind if it's in a mix, but I see people proper raving over him, and he was appearing near the top of end of year lists. Just don't see what's so special.

Also, that CAS tune is fucking awful. I've tried to get into him, but I just ain't heard anything I like by him. Got excited when I found out MssingNo had produced for him, thought it might sound quite different, just sounds like any other UKHH tbf, and that verve sample is vile.

XE2 is bloody glorious.

CAS is one of my favorite MC's over the last year. Really skilled dude.

Has Becoming Real been up to much lately? Always felt lime the Closer EP laid the template for a lot of this stuff.

The buildup of the bass of XE2 is comparable to a spaceship being launched, simply amazing. I listened to the 124th clip on AJP's channel, but back then I haven't been really intrigued by Baiders, Brandy Flip, or XE2 yet.

Agreed on this - I was a bit baffled by the end of year list appearances.

Check out 'All Hallows'. It's the best tune on the album, for my money.

That tune with the Verve sample is terrible.

i like CAS a lot personally. Witty, brutal, clever lyricist. Certain bars get stuck in my head for days, often pretty unrepeatable ones

Number 23 doesn't count as an album, all the tunes were out already basically.

But yeah, Cas is sick. He can do better than YMBS and Walkin stuff though. Those are not on the level of Play, Leon Best etc

If you're an OG, it's ok. If you're not, prepare to get battered IMO.

lol, will test my OGnezz in future then! 8)

my thoughs are that the sound is still small enough to not get the thread too spammy, when people posting their own material now and then.
