I really enjoyed writing about this one, actually: has a definite "album" feel to it.

Would be interested to hear whether people agree/disagree here.
I've just read your review and also listened to Wen's signals and i have to say that you're on point with your review. I'm also sharing the same opinion. Very good album that really represent the 130 sound on it's best on the LP format. Good job, Wen!

Cheers guys - seems Fact don't agree with us here, though:

So Logos dropped it on the Hessle Show (don't know timestamp, listen out and you'll hear it).
I can't remember where I heard it before then, I feel like it was Youngsta but that doesn't make sense...I think it was Beneath or Mumdance when they were on Rinse last. Think it might of been Beneath.

Definitely not Turbo Mitzi.
It's called You've been caught I presume, the vocal sample is pretty defined.

According to Youngsta, it's a Wen and Parris tune forthcoming on Tempa later in the year.

I was just thinking the same thing, a complete change from what Temps has been putting out the past few years.

lol
how can you even compare them? not even the same style. that's just a comp of random (mostly) grime, trap & hiphop beats. not representative for anything except i guess the boxed nights

You've Been Caught premiered on the keysound V butterz show if I recall correct
Top tune, happy to see Wen & Parris get recognition on a major underground label like Tempa

i think Lunar by Wen and Blackdown could work without pretty much any of the drums
some really fucking nice synths n that, especially in like the last third / quater of the tune
Martin, do a Lunar dub with pretty much no drums plz
