What's up fellow dubsteppas, just dropping in to introduce myself. I'm a wannabe producer/DJ out of Columbia, MO. Been playing guitar for about 3 years now, and recently immersed myself into the world of EDM to broaden my musical tastes. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and cats. Well, I think that's enough blabbing about myself, back to reading tutorial threads... Which I've found there are TONS here that have been well written, thanks for that :)

Hi Bassheads!
My name is Midza, 17 years old I live near to Paris and I love lot of music, dubstep, DnB, glitch hop, house etc (Skream, Zeds dead, Feed Me, The Glitch Mob, Madeon). But also things such as Ratatat or Massive Attack.
I try to make some music in the genre above since 10 months and I enjoy learn new technics of production. I try to make something glitched and with some melodic content, if you want to check out my SC http://soundcloud.com/midz (yeah some good ideas but not a "pro sounding").
This forum is my favorite place to learn, I love it :D

Yo Dubstepprs!
Just thought I'd introduce myself to y'all. Im 20 years old, love die antwoord, Massive attack, skream, benga, the widdler, skrillex(obv), and I could go on for hours. Been listening to house and electro for years now, love how its been evolving. Love the raves out here, and the artists are pretty awesome out here in Cali. Right now Im into this group I herd about when I moved into the L.A district called BlackBurner. They're like a mix of Electro House, House, and Dub. you can check em out and download at facebook.com/blackburner.music
Good stuff, and they put on a crazy show for sure

Ez all, been lurking here a while, names Anthony Jacobs. I presently live in Ontario Canada. Producing music and playing vinyl makes me happy. Since 2005-2006 Dubstep has felt like a long lost friend from a past life that I've been preparing my whole life meet again. Gone deep down the rabbit hole ever since and never looked back, the deeper, the darker the better.

Last few years, I've put my music career aside, I am a stay at home dad working part time doing some work for a few new labels you may know. ;)
When I do get out to play the occasional gig, I've been fotunate enough to open for some serious movers of the sound like Distance, N-Type, Hatcha to name a few. I have been honoured to also have some of my music played and supported by Distance (Rinse FM), N-Type, some of the M.U.D and I.M.R crew, Reamz, and can't hurt to mention that I've even had a nice inbox from Mala on one of my tunes - got to soak that in and brag a bit when it happens. ;) I've done guest mixes for various shows on DubplateFM, done guest mixes for the ICU Audio and Macabre Unit Digital show as well as Niteshade.Inc (Aka Strago & Snooks).

Been loving lurking this forum, and finally decided to poke my head up, say hey and am looking forward to contributing and discussing with you all this great music we all love.

Sharing my love, here's a quick 30min deep and dark vinyl set (including a few percy new dubs from myself and a friends on CD). ...Enjoy. :Q:

Bless.

What's up guys, I've lurked for a minute but finally got the courage to post! I've been messing around with music for less than 3 months now, but have become more into making dubstep as of late. Great place for tips and I hope to meet some awesome people!

What's up! :corntard: never saw that smiley before...

Big fan of dubstep.. I've really just been a fan of electronic music since I can remember... Any Ram Trilogy fans here?

Anyway.. I've been makin beats as just a fuck around hobby for years. Started off on MTV's Music Generator for PS1, and used that for umm I dunno.. 5 years

That's my musical background. I don't know anyone else that produces music. I haven't really shared my tunes over the years.. some here some there. I'm currently using FLstudio and a Korg nano KEY :i:

I would like to meet some people that maybe I can get some advice from. I've recently decided to maybe try and do something with my beats... I'd say 90% of what I make or have made is large 8 to 16 bar loops ... I never really make a full song because I'm really the only one that listens to them and enjoys them... so why bother.

Furthermore, I'd really like to get more familiar with more artists and music I've never heard... this seems like the place to do that. :h:

If you want to hear some of my crap I've put up here ya go : http://www.reverbnation.com/nate2nate & http://www.youtube.com/user/justmenate/videos

Not much to really enjoy.. but whatever. And for shits n giggles here's a beat I made on MTV's music generator about 12yrs ago.. :6: http://soundcloud.com/nate2nate/eleven-minute-mayhem
