I am new to the forum and recently began to get into producing and listening to dubstep. In the past I have worked producing and releasing other genres of dance music. Currently living in San Francisco, Ca and I will be graduating this winter with a Bachelor of Science in Sound Engineering/Audio Production. I am looking forward to being a member on forum...
hello all
Im a new Dubstep and house producer just starting out.
Iv been producing for about 2 years and I am finally starting to release my material.

'ello, Im Cenobia, ive pretty much been in the edm game for about a year or so and im just starting to actually go headstrong into it and actually release songs, ive stumbled upon this forum quite a few times and got some help so i decided why not join the community that provided for me and helped me gain ideas.
DJAnthologic wrote:Ez all, been lurking here a while, names Anthony Jacobs. I presently live in Ontario Canada. Producing music and playing vinyl makes me happy. Since 2005-2006 Dubstep has felt like a long lost friend from a past life that I've been preparing my whole life meet again. Gone deep down the rabbit hole ever since and never looked back, the deeper, the darker the better.
Last few years, I've put my music career aside, I am a stay at home dad working part time doing some work for a few new labels you may know.
When I do get out to play the occasional gig, I've been fotunate enough to open for some serious movers of the sound like Distance, N-Type, Hatcha to name a few. I have been honoured to also have some of my music played and supported by Distance (Rinse FM), N-Type, some of the M.U.D and I.M.R crew, Reamz, and can't hurt to mention that I've even had a nice inbox from Mala on one of my tunes - got to soak that in and brag a bit when it happens. I've done guest mixes for various shows on DubplateFM, done guest mixes for the ICU Audio and Macabre Unit Digital show as well as Niteshade.Inc (Aka Strago & Snooks).
Been loving lurking this forum, and finally decided to poke my head up, say hey and am looking forward to contributing
and discussing with you all this great music we all love.
I've been lurking this forum for 4-5 months now and wanted to finally contribute stuff and discuss with other DJs and producers about production! I'm djing for 1 year now and started producing 4 months ago and hope to develop my skills here!
I've already made some tracks which you can listen to in my sig, but they are (as you may hear) badly mixed and I want to learn more about mixing, sounddesign and production in general!
Hey, im new and would just like you guys to know about my dubstep inspired clothing range, its called freshman clothing and its just my hobby to make clothes and to sell them as cheap as i can, if you wanna find out more please like my facebook page www.facebook.com/FreshmanClothingUK or just go direct to my site www.freshmanclothinguk.bigcartel.com THANKS!!
I'm Mista Flops and I have a vision that people reading this in a year will be doing so because they googled me. I have a drive to make the best tunes that come to my mind, be they dubstep or something else. I've been playing piano for 15 years and have arranged melodies for a cappella groups so I hope to fuse ethereal melodies with gritty basslines. For now, I'm running Reason 5 along with the oh-so-powerful Massive running through Ableton..but I've been tasting Cubase for a month or so and want it badly. Hope someone out there likes what I have to offer..I'm always down for some creative talking/collaboration
New here, but been into dubstep for a while. Really excited about all the new artists coming into the scene like Kaiju, Perverse, Thelem, Biome n stuff and just wanted to speak with others that love this shit
When it comes to the studio world I'd like to consider myself very capable and quite experienced:-)...but the production steps behind dubstep music really have me baffled. I hope most of you show a bit of patience with my questions to you in this amazing musical genre. A very big thank you to you all right off the bat...I look forward to learning!
Hey I'm a taking a year off from school and wanted to try and explore dubstep. I have produced some really soft electronic music and house but I think this would be fun.
Hey guys just thought I'd say whatsup. Just joined yesterday. I've been producing for quite awhile with a second EP droppin in the near future. I've been working on a project called Zeta (Also the artist name) where were trying to mash powerful chords and huge melodies with destructive basslines and borderline ear deafening sounds. Some artists have managed to pull this off quite well but I think were bringing something fresh to the table. Don't get me wrong here though, I'm not trying to say were gods of dub here trying to invent styles and all but over the course of two years its now beginning to seem as if it will go this way. Anyways I will be contributing to the bible here soon hopefully and I may also release a sample pack for free along with some tutorials and techniques we've found to be extremely useful and some that are optional but great in some scenarios. If you guys ever need some tips or if your new to the scene give me a PM or email us and we'll help you get started.
PS. You guys were our second most visited site for tips and help when we started out. Now its time to repay the help.
Much Love Guys!
