ye not sure what to make of new benton. heard a couple of ok ones, heard a few severely meh ones. cringed hard when i read 'unique sound' a couple of times on the internet
mak n pasteman tunes are incredibly formulaic ;/ sound good when ur off ur welt though
what tunes at 1:26:30? cba to download the podcast
i think the calling by benton is good but that's about as far as it goes, and yh brown bread is literally one of my least favourite tunes of 2013
who knows what the tune is m8 one of them untitled ones, a lot of percussion, sounds a bit like a collab between mickey pearce and zed bias, some sort of woodblock doing a similar thing to the lead in turbo mitzi

This last 14 months id say ive seen around 13 loefah sets. From this its easy to say i like "tech house". The only predominately 140 sets i witnessed were at DMZ 8th bday and the last DMZ vs Loefah at Exodus. Seen him throw a few of the classics at the end of his longer 2 hours + sets though. TBH his sets dont vary massively from the Rinse shows, more so when it was monthly. Wish i could make Glasgow but its a tad to far for me.
EDIT: I don't actually know what tech house is.

What's wrong with vests, fellas? Although i know about which tnucs you're talking, i'm finding the hate towards vests weird. I'm only wearing Religion or Hype vests, mostly combined with a blazer.

Yeah, you don't really tend to get many fannies in the subby. Although, most of the time I've been to sub club recently it's been for techno nights, not really seen anyone like Loefah there, but I would've thought it'd be a decent crowd, normally is. It's almost a guarantee to be a sweatbox btw

Vice versa, m8. I don't know where you live, but you surely can wear a blazer without the full treatment. And when i'm wearing vests, there is always something that hides the rest. A jacket, blazer or just a shirt. And i'm not defending those guys, 'cause i know they're tnucs, but using stereotypes based on a clothing piece is just wrong.

no offense man but never even once have I seen someone wearing a vest in a club that wasn't a tnuc/didn't come across strongly as a tnuc
dunno maybe where you live its the norm but the stereotypes are there for a reason

Anyone know the tune Mickey Pearce has been played that samples the 'call it' scene from No Country For Old Men?
