Hey man, the intro was very distance like and i am a big fan of him and i love the darker sound of dubstep. If i was going to give any advice i would say to put some reverb on your hats and snares etc. A lecturer said to me that panning gives you the width in a mix and reverb gives you the depth and i swear by this! Very good track man, love the use of samples and that sort of howling wind effect that stays under alot of the track makes it so dark that its beautiful. If you want to have a listen to my stuff theres a track for you here:

Both of these are absolutely quality, I found the pad in the intro was so loud it was slightly jarring but that might be the effect that you're going for, and I started finding the "omigod" sample in the second one annoying by the end.
Both these critisisms could be explained by the fact that I've just got up and haven't had any coffee yet.

Hey guys , I haven't had my computer for the past few weeks so decided to use my friend's computer to make a track , as I was having withdrawls , haha . I ended up making a deep kind of roller today , and some feedback would be awesome ! It's called "Malignant" and it's at www.soundcloud.com/dubfonik . Thanks !

@Haack- I really like your last track. I have a short attention span, so by the end I was ready to move on, but it's got great atmosphere!

@Hooky- The crowd really sets this tune up, great way to get the listener's attention. It's also well timed. I think the tune stands on it's own without the vocal samples.

Really like this mate, could definitely mong out to this. Really like the drums, great rhythm. A lot of the sounds seem quite low and distant in the mix but I quite like this (could do some automation so some of the elements to glide up in frequency over 16 bars or something to bring in some tension, similar to what I did in that Summer Nights). All about the 130ish stuff atm, I just made a track at 132bpm check it oot:

HAACK: Really feeling this. Bass is brilliant, loads of atmosphere and feeling the vocal clips and samples. Very chilling. Check out my track "Them" I posted up the page, similarish vibes.

@Hooky: Love the roulette ball sample, don't think the vocal samples are too good but the track is different, great retro style synth on it and a good all round track

@HAACK: I agree it's very Distance like, great eerie vibes on it, mix of dark wobble and ambience goes down well, and the bass is mean, nice one.

Here's my track, needs slight touches but it's sort of finished.

Soundcloud thougts appreciated.

Man you know I love this one! Edgy, dark and gritty. As for sounding a bit thin.. maybe a tad but this could be soundclouds fault. A little mastering session could help too though.

I can think of a few things that the track could possibly do with though (I'm being picky). A nice long reverb on the snare (or diff snare) from time to time and a slight quick break (silence) after the 2nd drop somwhere to emphasize one of the midrange bass oh and that snare or hit with the delay that plays at 1:02 could do with standing out in the mix a little more.

Overall though its a great bit of work and I look forward to hearing some more stuff soon.
