Trpwr: Wow i absolutely love this type of dubstep, that soothing dark melody and the deep bass, perfect, but i feel that there is something missing, maybe its not strong or "thick" enough, but all in all its a sick track.

Kaiori Breathe: Im not really into this type of dubstep but from what i can hear, this is a beautiful track, love the piano sounds, don't really like the vocals but i think that's just a matter of taste.

Criminaldubz: one word mental. Usually dubstep tracks like this sound very cluttered with all the effects but this one was quite nice! Like that 80's synth but don't like how you pitch it.

2ndBass http://soundcloud.com/cosineiow/positive
Some good ideas in there man, i like the 80s into but then you rinse it too much, you need some variation in the theme to move it away from being a loop on repeat

Wikum http://soundcloud.com/wikum/death-march
Nice deep, dark and rolling some nice touches in there for variation good start deep drop – good work

RatRaceProducing http://soundcloud.com/ratrace-producing ... nk-slinkin
Nice skank on the intro, good old skool dub vibes with the melody, loads of ideas in there, if twas mine i would consider another filter on the wobble to take of some of the high edge, but good work

Right got this finished today. Still some finer points that need ironing out I think but this is basically the finished product. Thought I would get some feedback here before I go sending to labels.

Soundcloud

@unrelat8d - This is pretty cool. Not really feeling the high frequency wobble if you know the one I mean. Like the use of the vocal sample and those chords you play with it are cool. Some of the sounds could have a bit more time spent on them but the mixdown is fairly solid (part from that one sound. Nice sounding drums. The second drop is pretty sick. Basically it's pretty good overall but nothing stands out as particularly attention grabbing I'm afraid. I'd skank if I heard it out but wouldn't play it myself basically XD

@BadBoyBastian3B - Kinda cool. Again good use of the vocal here. Good mixdown etc etc. Very well produced I would say but tbh a bit annoying for me lol, not really my kinda thing.

@noizy parka - This is SICK! Is that piano sampled from somewhere? All those crunchy evil sounds in the background at the beginning are awesome and when the drums drop in it just rolls perfectly. Great synthesis you've got going on and that vocal is perfect. Great tune. Only gripe I have is that maybe the drums could stand out a bit more in the mix, like a TINY bit more lol and the piano could maybe have a bit more low mid taken off it. Other than that it's a bloody sick tune dude. Reminds me of ghost a little bit for some reason :s Got on the DL!

Kaiori and Trpwr your tune aint up anymore!! Boooo!

@paravrais : I like the atmospheric intro, its got some great organic sounds in there, really hits hard on headphones, the little percs are great and add a lot to the atmosphere! That sub is DEEP! I like the drum beat, really nice and glitchy but it also flows perfectly. I would add more atmosphere into the drop from the get-go, it seems really empty before those synth strings come in. I would also put some spaces where no bass is playing, its quite fatiguing with a constant sub bass playing throughout, a second or two of space every 8 bars can work wonders for the space and pace of a track! Great work though :)

@ Noizy Parka:

Track 1 : Great piano intro, I like how you don't waste time and bring the sub straight in ! Great little touch. The sweeping dark sounds are great too! Really a lot of atmosphere. A really great drum beat, I like how you're using shakers instead of hats I don't think the track needed hats, it needed something more soft! The vocal is good but I feel like you could of made a more atmospheric breakdown to bring it in.

I would drop the piano out for bits as there seems to be elements of the track trying to come through but the piano is drowning them out, musically!

Track 2: Great fiddle sample, I recognise it from somewhere but I can't remember where hehe! I really like the vocal what comes in, I am a bit unsure about the drums and sounds what come in, it sounds a bit messy? Theres a lot going on and it seems like you got a few to many ideas all coming in at once. If you planned out the structure a bit more this could be a great track.

My tune!

@ Legend4ry - Cheers for the feedback man, I'll think about the things you mentioned before I try and send it off anywhere. Anyway, your track has great atmosphere, loving the percussion all the way through, got some great vibes and you've used just the right samples. Nice pad work etc similar to what you said to me actually there are points when a string type instrument with a delay on it plays and the track feels a bit empty like some more atmosphere should be going on in the background. The variety in the percussion really keeps the track interesting still but I would have liked a low mid pad right in the background just keeping the vibes going. Overall I think it's one of my favourites I've heard from you so props! Good stuff.

@ Tripwire - Ah cool, the link didn't work for me earlier :\ said 'soundcloud cannot find this page' or some such. Very nice track, as always from you two. Don't think it's my favourite you guys have done as the melody isn't as interesting as others you have written. The vocal sounds great and the production is top notch though, great pace, great mood etc etc. So....when are you guys gonna be big then? Feels overdue already.

Gonna post a slightly reworked version of my track tomorrow but keep the feedback coming if anyone else wants to comment. Wanna make it as good as possible cos I'm quite happy with this one!

I'm really liking this song. Great song construction and use of vocals. Good atmosphere etc, one thing that lets it down is the synth for the main wobble. Sounds a bit cheesy and like it's just a couple of detuned saw/square waves with not much more done to 'em? Maybe add some more processing, resample or change one of the waveforms or something? Just to make it sound less cheesy, there are bits where the frequency goes up and it sounds better then. Might not be to do with the sound at all actually, you might have just not taken enough EQ out the low end. The notes it plays are boss though. Love the drums after bout 3:40. Keep it up!

@unrelat8d: Nice but I would change the point at which you cross-over your sub to your midbass, the sub does overpower the other noises slightly, given the type of sound you seem to be going for. Otherwise, really sweet.

@badboybastian: Bad Ass. Although the dancehall/grime style subbass is cool, I would give it either a slightly longer decay or a louder sustain just to keep it moving a bit more. But yeah, big tune.

@stealth elf: Beautifully melodic, lovely atmospheres, full bass, very nice work. The only thing I would have done differently (and this is more of a preference thing than anything) is maybe made a bit more of those really nice little clicks you have in the drums early on, maybe panning them around a bit and using them to glitch it up a bit more, but in fairness I'm a glitch lover and I dunno if thats your style. But seriously this tune is fucking awesome. Rrrrispec'

@stealthelf I get the cheesy generic bass thing, I was specifically trying to make it sound more 'generic dubstep' than my usual stuff. Trying to be different with every tune is getting me nowhere? Working on synthising a much dirtier bass on my next tune tho.

@Reset the Atari
Nice stabs! Hot vocal sample - really dig it. The first drop sounds good, but left me wanting more - made me want to listen on! Again hot vox. After the build up at 3:40 would have liked more of a change up, but the track is still well rounded esp with the vox coming back in. Great work!

@Paravrais
Love the articulate percs, nice and deep man...And the brass :) I'm going to have to try this, sounds fucking cool, adds heaps more depth imo. Heaps of melodic sounds in this track esp liked the bells at 2:18, very deep - probably listen to it again to pick up on everything. I enjoyed everything about this track apart from the arp at 2:45, didn't feel it, but hey its just not my cuppa but wtf do I know. All in all smooth tune and respekt to the deep vibes.

@EDN
Nice stretch beats in the intro, insane break. Sorry not into the fisher price high melody though, pattern is fine I just dont like the sound - mind you after I checked the name of your track and I can see why you chose it. Would have fancied a bit more sub over the mid bass, I kinda felt that the mid bass dominated. Great use of panning, esp with the beats.

My tune check the sig - Cabin Fever
enjoy!
