Funny to see how relevant this topic is 3+ years later. The debate over halfstep/brostep etc. is raging. Definitely feeling like "Half-Step" is more in line with the original vibes of dubstep. Swamp81 > Skrillex imho

this thread started in 2006- and right back on the first page people were saying the same old responses that this has already been debated loads and no point pigeonholing, good music is good music etc.

perhaps people say dungeon vs filth rather than halfstep vs breakstep...but whatever, it has been discussed to death and is a really boring and repetative topic of conversation.


......the only interesting thing to take from it is that people keep repeating the exact same boring conversation year after year, so anyone that thinks they are being original starting a dmz>circus thread really isn't and should shut the fuck up becasue its been done and was a boring repetative conversation 5 years ago

I totally agree, good music is good music & I will never knock anyone for doing there thing.

However, despite what a boring conversation it is according to you... you still fell the need to respond, give your opinion & get emotional to tell others to "shut the fuck up" The only thing I can say is that if you find it boring & repetitive, then don't contribute to the conversation, plain & simple...

That's the same response every time people continue to bring up these same filth vs deep, who is burial, burial is zomby etc conversations and people say its boring and been repeated loads. The very fact that this thread started in 2006 and on the first page people were saying it'd been discussed to death should be a clue!

.....I could just not comment or avoid the thread, but when you see the same things rehashed year after year it gets dull and I thought was worth mentioning, I guess so do others- hence the 'repeated topics' sticky.

LOL... You are right I didn't have to read or respond to it... but I wasn't the one saying it was boring & telling others to "shut the fuck up" you were. I kind of felt the need to defend myself since you were basically calling me out & telling me to shut the fuck up homie... & also, nowhwere did I claim this conversation to be "original" or to have "started the conversation." As a matter of fact, I said that this thread started more than 3 years ago & the debate is still raging... which it obviously it is, seeing that you, someone who finds it boring & repetitive is still contributing to the coversation... In any case, there are better ways of expressing your opinion then telling me to "shut the fuck up" which I find completely insulting.

Alright man, for starters you need to get the sand out of your vag and get some sort of sense of humor.

I wasn't getting worked up or anywhere telling you to 'shut the fuck up' to begin with- was saying it about people starting the same sort of deep vs filth etc threads that have been going on for years like this one proves (you didn't start this thread did you?!?), then I carried it on because you seemed to get so offended and irate with a bit of swearing!
