You could have just engaged with my posts and said that you don't think Tupac is relevant to young British Islamists. You'd be completely wrong, but it would have at least provoked some discussion around non islamic sources of radicalisation.

Fair enough you don't like my tone, you think I'm a twat, but dismissing people out of hand because they act/speak differently to you is quite immature tbh.

I made a couple of posts relevant to the thread topic, that you disagreed with, so now you've diverted the thread into a pretty boring discussion about my accounts

yet I'm the troll
Now you're done surely?! You've gone fully victim persona now, the cycle must be complete now.

Fair play to Help for Heroes.

It does seem like the attackers got exactly what they wanted out of this, at least in the short term, massive publicity, complete overreaction from the right wing elements of the country. They were asking bystanders to take photos and film, all very grim but seemingly well calculated. The guy that gave the monologue with the knives in hand, has become the pin up dart board target for every skin head racist thug out there, but it seems that's exactly what he wanted.

EDIT - WOW, proper victim persona, making up other's opinions when I have clearly not stated either way. Please stop now, it's just boring to read the same troll script in threads over and over again.

Apologies to all the news reporters i ignored (including you Jon Snow) but I really do not have anything else to say on the matter.

Since the incident occurred, I've been offered up to £75k from media outlets for my story. I've turned them all down.

This story is not about ME And doesn't need to be sensationalised anymore by me selling my story for a few bucks.

Stitches ffs. Boya >>>

Sure the Guardian laced his pocket nicely for the deletion of his tweets and publishing that article. It was time for my man to take a new life path anyway, hope to see him reporting about co-existing in Syria and Lebanon soon.
Grime wasn't for him...

There you go

Now it slightly feels like Boya Dee actually wrote it instead of just signing it after some random Guardian guy wrote it.

Of course, but for the key charity to publicly denounce the EDL, to whom the EDL are supposed staunch supporters, is a brilliant example to set.

From a poll taken after the attack - http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2013/may/2 ... tack-islam
"There has also been a small increase in the proportion of people who believe British Muslims pose a serious threat to democracy, up to 34% on Thursday and Friday from 30% in November 2012, according to the YouGov survey of 1,839 adults."

"However the YouGov poll provides evidence that Britain does remain a tolerant country and that the far-right support remains at the margins of society. Nearly two-thirds (63%) believe the vast majority of Muslims are good British citizens, up by 1% from last November."

"There has also been an increase from 24% to 33% in the proportion who believe Muslims are compatible with the 'British way of life'. Around two-thirds (65%) said on the whole most people tend to get along well with each other."

"...two-thirds said they felt negatively about such protests led by the BNP or English Defence League (EDL). Asked if they would join the EDL, 84% said they would never do so, although there has been a 9% increase in the proportion of respondents who had heard of the far-right organisation."

"Dr Matthew Goodwin of Nottingham university, who commissioned the poll, said:
"Compared to last year, when we ran the exact same survey, today people are either just as likely, or more likely, to endorse a series of more positive statements: that Muslims are compatible with the national way of life; are good citizens; make important contributions to society; and share British culture and values.
In fact, while far right groups were pointing to the murder as evidence that Islam poses a fundamental threat to modern Britain, the percentage of respondents who view Muslims as compatible actually jumped by almost ten points, to 33%.
Clearly, the numbers remain low, and point to wider challenges facing government, and our local communities. But in the aftermath of events that could well have triggered a more serious backlash, the direction of travel remains positive, and suggests there has not been a sharp spike in prejudice.""

Like the Guardian has enough money to pay someone to write articles for someone else.

They don't even pay the people who DO write for them.

Know people who have written CIF articles - you get £90 for one, IF they bother to pay you. A mate's only just been paid for an article he wrote 2 years ago. A far cry from 75 grand aint it?

And while Guardian subs aren't known for their impeccable grammar, you'd imagine if someone ghost wrote it it would be SLIGHTLY more coherent.

That said, I have to wonder why so many people think a black guy from South London is incapable of writing that article.

A mosque has been praised for serving tea and biscuits to English Defence League supporters after the far-right group arranged a demonstration there.

About six people turned up to protest at the mosque in Bull Lane, York, on Sunday and were invited inside to play football with worshippers.
