The more I think about it the more I know it-Oasis weren't just the best band of the 90s they're in the top 10 bands of all time, their wordplay, the way they evoke so many different emotion, their versatility, the fact that they spawned so many copycats-the swagger and presence of their frontmen. No wonder their first album was so critically acclaimed and still remains the critics choice as one of the best albums of the last 25 years.

all they did was rip off the beatles and present it to a generation not old enough to remember it first time round. they were nothing special.
