Re: Ukraine
I never want to go to the pub with any of you lot.
Re: Ukraine
Don't worry, if you ever did accidentally end up in the pub with me, I wouldn't do anything to try and affect your cool aloofness.wub wrote:I never want to go to the pub with any of you lot.
Re: Ukraine
Yet you still have time to spend desperately trying to exude some sort of prideful dumber-than-thou nonchalant indifference about a subject when you'd achieve the same effect a lot quicker and saved us all a thread derail by just ignoring the thread and sticking to posting tired /b/ memes?m8son wrote:I have more relevant things happening in my life than worrying about a country miles away's trouble which currently has no effect on me apart from reading it in the news.
Unfortunately, it looks too much like you're trying far too hard to be the sort of vacuous Internet personality you copy and paste from which sort of blows the whole effect... there's clearly something you care about in this thread in order to keep you defending yourself rather than getting on with the "relevant things" happening in your life, probably important things relating to your red brick university life... like pasting other people's slogans onto stock images or making sure you watch Jeremy Kyle in a bit.

I'm seeing an atomic wedgie, followed by a headlock, and maybe I insert my tongue into wub's ear canal. Cool aloofness, catastrophically dispelled.

I think you may be reading a bit too much into this. You are derailing the thread by responding, why not just ignore my posts and stick to posting things lathered with pretention? Why don't you go back to your middle age life and have a fondue or make a collage or something.

Re: Ukraine
This is the sort of thing that can only be fixed by a big fight, followed by swift, sheepish apologies.
Re: Ukraine
You're beautifully avoiding the point - you're the one "trying not to give a shit" here. I do care about discussing Ukraine with other interested Ninjas but I also do care about calling you a vacuous witless dick who's parents would've served the world better by sticking to oral sex - I'd probably be doing it in a different thread if this hadn't been derailed. I'm having fun and getting paid for this exchange, so as long as you want to put off all those "relevant things" you need to be doing in your red brick uni life in order to voluntarily help me pass the time I'm getting paid for, I'm more than happy to keep responding. I'm not allowed to insult the Australian, but I get free rein with you... it's a great little public service.m8son wrote:magma wrote:Yet you still have time to spend desperately trying to exude some sort of prideful dumber-than-thou nonchalant indifference about a subject when you'd achieve the same effect a lot quicker and saved us all a thread derail by just ignoring the thread and sticking to posting tired /b/ memes?

"Lathered with pretention" is a wonderfully self-deprecating phrase, well done. It's pretension, though. You got dangerously close to looking intelligent for a second there... maybe next time you'll pull it off.

I think it says something about you that you resort to personal attacks so quickly. You also feel the need to brag about the fact you have a job to a stranger on the internet at every opportunity which also says something about you. I'm not sure you have free rein, if it wasn't me you were saying this too i'm sure you would have got a warning by now. Also why mention the Australian, what has he got to do with this?
and i'm the witless dick?magma wrote:witless dick who's parents would've served the world better by sticking to oral sex

Re: Ukraine
Damn, I thought no posts for 3 hours meant you might've found some self respect and moved on... but no, still failing not to give those fucks. You've expended so much effort now.
I get free rein because you came into this thread and started taking the piss out of people trying to have a conversation about something they were interested in. It's fine for you not to find it interesting, it's fine for you to sit and quietly judge our use of time from a far, but if you actually make the effort to post about how lame it is to show an interest in world affairs in a thread where people are discussing world affairs, you're fair game for anyone that wants to call you out on it.
I mentioned the Australian because he's another dickhead I have frequent contact with, but I'm not allowed to insult him since I work with him. I can insult you all I like because you're a waster on an Internet forum. You're enjoyable, m8son. More enjoyable than the Australian. I enjoy you almost as much as my synth, only I don't have to press "Demo" to get you to play yourself.

Does the lack of words mean you've given up now? Can we get back to the topic or are you going to keep wandering around bashing your virtual saucepan screaming "LOOK AT ME!" like a fucking two year old?

Re: Ukraine
Anyway, that Ukraine huh? I heard the regional council in Kherson, immediately to the northwest of Crimea, has voted to condemn "any manifestations of separatism", Interfax-Ukraine news agency reports. A total of 46 out of 48 councillors present during the vote supported the resolution.
