ye but this was a bit more noticeable than normal. like from it being RAMMED to like 2/3 or half way full it was contrasting. fuck it, more room to skank for the rest of us.

i like pretty much the whole spectrum, and wobblers do have a place...

but im weary cos if the recent success of dubstep is gonna attract narrow minded people lookin for bait wobblers only and just hype, as appose to passion for the genre.

im nt gna rant cos its just long, but i will say this...

wobblers are sick, as are all other types of dubstep.

Just as long as the nights keep good variation in them im happy. I think dmz had that.

loefah couldn't keep his hands off it! tunes like that are what make dmz, obviously I have my age to blame for not having heard that particular tune before, but its that feeling of hearing something new through that system in that place at that time in the morning, jus puts a big smile on your face.

good to hear a new mala bit at the end of dmz set, been waiting for one of those, and that mark pritchard thing was spot on.
was too full... i suppose it makes it even more worthwhile staying til the end so you get some more space... but when theres a gaggle of pissed up girls chatting shit right next to the stack getting in my way as I'm losing control of my limbs to miracles, it kind of ruins it. if you want to talk, why do it in one of the loudest square metres in london?

but on the whole, dmz strong as ever

i think i turned up for the wrong half of the night, arrived just as mystikz were finishing, as someone said already it looked like it had all gone a bit nathan barley, enjoyed chefs set but not really much else, first time i ever left dmz not feeling elated about dubstep. my tune of the night - just one of those days remix, one classic that hasn't been rinsed into oblivion and it kinda summed up the whole night for me.

Yes Luke definitely! But I think Skream has made that track more in honour of the Ray Keith remix, which was and still is, massive (if you ain't heard before, check the breakdown from 4 mins in, huge!):

ye thats wot its about man. i was der brockin it out, was nice to have more space at that time. and kutz was big, im feelin his productions.

as for the chatty pissed girls..lol give em a bly this time man. just be happy u didnt have a sausage fest around u like the majority of people in der.

also u just gave me one of dem flash flash memories of wen miracles got dropped. how could i forget.

Wicked night!

Cheers to the Effra crew for making me feel welcome, still spent a lot of the night jumping around on my own under the air conditioners after having to run back to my car for my ear plugs (fucking bouncers said I had literally 2minutes to get em otherwise I wasn't getting back in aaaaaaaarrrrggg!!!), but was nice to have a few others to vibe off of as well.

I thought Chef played the best set of the night. Had some wicked smoother stuff (TRG, Martyn etc) as well as a few bangers thrown in and flawless mixing throughout.

Any of you guys reaching WhyNot? at the end of the month?? I'll probably be down there on my own again (I do have my own friends -honest!!)

Gutted that the next one's on the 3rd of Jan... Will still be in France then, and that's the last one before I go to Canada, so won't be able to reach DMZ until may damnit!

we are e was heavy!! was coming back in from a smoke and heard it running and nearly started running (TOWARDS the room of course) myself!

still....whilst i still had a fun time, like others have said, i didn't come away from this DMZ feeling particularly optimistic about dubstep

that ones The Truth - Fatman.

the 1st tune was probably a loefah tune. similar bass sound to mud but dunno if its a vip, the rhythm sounds quite different.
