Hi I make music using fl studio 10. I also mix using a numark mixtrack but I am saving up for actual turntables so I don't have to use that piece of cheap plastic anymore. And thats all the stuff I do with music I guess. As far as artists go I'm really into Biome, N-Dread, Dcult, and Cyrus lots of others of course though. :)

I'm pretty new the dubstep scene.
Ever since I was a little boy I've been infatuated with any kind of electronic music. My best friend was a DJ, and was going to teach me a few things about using turntables, until he passed one day.

My two favorite genres of music have always been metal (preferably deathcore) and drum 'n bass, but after returning to the free world, after a 4 year bout, I was introduced to dubstep in 2009. It grew on me, but its mainstream popularity drew me away from it, as I tended to frown upon any type of mainstream success. It wasn't long before I couldn't deny it any longer, and gave in to the dub again.

Today I am learning, practicing, and producing from home on Cockos REAPER.
I am always looking for new techniques and approaches.
PM me if you have something cool to share, or if you'd like to collaborate.

Hopefully you guys all hear my music one day, but if it was that easy we'd all be famous - right?

O.o

Hey! My name is Kia aka NuCoast and I'm new to this website and to dubstep all together lol. I play bass, guitar and some drums though so I'm not new to music =) Currently I'm working with crap; GarageBand..until I have the money to buy a nicer program this summer. So if you check out my SoundCloud please be kind lol I'm doing the best I can with what I have right now. Thankfully there are tutorials on YouTube for GarageBand dubbing so I wasn't completely lost. :h:

Anyways, I'm excited to see what I'm going to learn from being on here :D
Do what you want and Kirk Out to something Nu.

If you want a really powerful program that works the same as garageband and will be really intuitive for you if you're coming from garageband, buy Logic

Hi, I'm new to the forum, just lookin to see what's new to dubstep and check it out mainly. I absolutely love dubstep, and I just love finding new artists, new songs and blastin' them. So I guess I'm just lookin for who's good. I've heard Skrillex obviously, listened to Deadmau5, some Excision, Klaypex, xKore, and some Liquid Stranger. So I guess I'm lookin for some new stuff.

Hello, Dubstepforum

Sorry for the formal opening I'm not very good at introductions!

My name is Aprex and I have been producing bits and pieces for about 3 months, I got into the music by mixing existing productions, It got to the point where I felt disappointed in myself for simply mixing together material other people have put their hard work into, so I decided to pick up music production.

I won't lie when I say at times I feel discouraged when I hear professional dub step artists against my own productions, but I guess you just have to practice just like they have to become one of the best :)

I really enjoy listening to productions from people starting just like me, so you will find me in the feedback section a lot, so come and say hello :)

- Aprex

'Sup ya'll

Jahuli here, checking in.

Mass respect to the variety of tunes represented in the forum. I like all sorts, if its got a good groove I'll dig it. Dubstep is truly a breath of fresh-air. I like the filthy stuff and the chilled reggae vibe stuff. Hoping to find some gems hidden amongst all the posts.

Off beat snare for the f%#kin' win! :W:

Peace

Hello there, nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. :t:
I'm new on the forum and new to dubstep in general. I heard only Skrillex and wouldn't like to be limited by his songs lol, I'd love to learn some more cool dubstep music and I think this is the best place to do that:)

Hell-oh! I'm a n00b here on the board so I'll take a moment to introduce myself. I'm a 36-yr-old musician, artist and producer from the states. I've been making electronic music for about 13 yrs ranging from NIN styled soundscapes to nasty heavy dubstep. With my recent decision to release and perform some of my dubstep live I thought this might be a good place to glean some good info and tips. Some of you will hate what I do because I could really care less about hard and fast rules pertaining to any genre of music, preferring to innovate and invent. I know there are some serious purists here and that's fine but not my thing.

Hey I'm just another dude, I'm 17 and I've been "producing" for about a month. I like to try and make rave type beats with dubstep type twists, or just normal electronica. I learn something new in beat making every day and I love having fun with what I make! :D

Hey everyone. I've been a member of dubstepforum for about a month or so now and I just started posting. I came here back in January in hopes to find info on Burial's Kindred EP, and now I'm posting so... nice to meet you :t:
