keep going, try chucking a few drum fills and chopping the lfo on the sub and youll have a very respectable tune

sweet strings, i like the bass tone, but adjust the lfo to get it too swing

nice start, your more or less on the right track. i wouldnt worry too much about structure (most dubstep songs have a structure unique to themselves) but since your just starting i would stick with 4/4 structure, its easy on the ears. any specific questions? Ive been producing for about 5 years now might be able to help you out. i would check out the production forums about eq and compression, as well as modulation (reverb, distortion, etc...)

Well I was curious what is wrong and needs to be improved on so I can try fix it and learn on the way. Does it even sound close to a song? and I am trying to make that "yeah yeah yeah" bass but I am nowhere close I sort of have it but not as distinct as it should be any tips would be nice.

yeah its literally not even a days work, so much more to do on it, where the bassline shifts up a few octaves and changed to F, just wasnt sure if it worked, =D all feedback appreciated

The intro is fine as a stand alone, but how about integrating pt2 and pt3 together?

Your intro sound a little too muffled. I'd try and crisp it up a bit.
Your basics are really good, might want to add some sub-bass, but thats just me
Might want a little more meat on it... (Bass or Glitches etc)

thanks man, yeah i dropped the pitch on the sample used in the intro to give it that muffled gritty sound, wouldnt mind cleaning it up abit. any tips on how?
and the sub is on its way trust me! safe for the feedback.

i had planned to give the percussion more variation 2bh and the lfo on the sub, was thinking maybe after the breakdown go to work on the sub. what you think??

Hey mate, my name is Neon Ordnance and I'm a dustep producer/dj from Edinburgh. This is a start. You've got the drums down, which is good because that's often one of the toughest parts. Maybe add some more hats and change up the pattern from time to time, but they sound fine. Your bass is off, i recommend getting Albino 3 and making a "Reese" bass sound to start with. I start pretty much all of my basslines off this sound, and then tweak it by either turning up the saturation, changing some of the sines into different waves, or some combination of the two.

Speaking of which, here's the latest track I've done:

=D i always like to try and do something a little different with my tracks, main reason ive uploaded this track so early in the production cycle is i was unsire about the bassline, but thus far quite a bit of positive feedback
