Here are two of mine, you dont have to comment on both if you dont want :)

Any feedback would be lovely, and hay if you wanna go through and listen to all my tracks feel free  nah just kidding..... but seriously 8)

ps. I couldn't get the stupid soundcloud player thing to go in, sorry :(
Thank you!!! you guys are totally worth it.

DEMZ - "Insomnia"

pluses:
+pads with delay in the beginning make for a nice intro
+beat comes in at a great point, giving it a unique flow right from the get
+tweaking that bell sounding lead gives it a super dreamy feel
+nice 'overthere' snare with delay
+(3:12) splendid panning/break
+using the beat repeater on the delay into the last drop is super sweet

advice:
-intro is well worked but could be a little shorter to reduce drag, unless you're trying to trance people out before the drop (which is effective too.. personally at the club im ready to start jumping around tho)
-first drop needs a little more definition, feels like it's still building
-needs a little more variation between the drops so it's not more of the same.. would make people go 'woah'
-bass needs a little more definition, feels all physical and non harmonic
-would love to hear the occasional double-timing of that bell lead, kinda like what the delay achieves but a little stronger

overall:
=mm, you have a yummy little dream track on your hands, so far... with a stronger bass and a few surprises i could spend all night swaying with the crowd to this one

much love :w:

**will post more reviews of your work once i have the time/energy, trying to spread myself out while i still have some steam..**
Legendary man, thanks for the feedback :D

Pretty much finished work on one of my first complete works.... Not strictly speaking dubstep but I've taken a lot of influences from dubstep/garage and hip hop. Thought some of you peeps might appreciate it. Any comments are welcomed on my soundcloud or myspace.

The tunes called leaky light bulb from space ... suss it here..... enjoy

Thierry, its sounding good - like the way your kicks have real "punch." I just kind of think you need an extra melody somewhere along the ways. Like the fat synth a lot though.

TheSnifit - really not my type of music so I don't know what your going for with the track. I do like the growly bass though- but i would say that your percussion is a little quiet for my liking.

This is my effort

@Knell,

Dude you got a soundcloud, feel like alot is being lost in translation as it were on myspace, and your tunes are sounding rather nicely arranged!

I went back to the drawing board on this one a little bit, to add a bit of hype before the drop, and develop the buildups more.

Let me know what you think, and download it if you like :D (its a 320). cheers

Solid production on that. Sonds clean and deep. I'd think of putting some more incidental noises and random little bleeps in there to spice it up a bit, but apart from that, I like it!

hmm. well.

i'm afraid i have some bad news.

just as things couldnt get any better, the bottom fell out.

due to unforeseen and extenuating circumstances, i've had to leave the place i call home and fend for myself on the streets.

so, needless to say, it might be a little while before i get to your review

HOWEVER,

i still have my computer, files, and dignity. so this will not be the last you hear of Knell or BaronRogue. whenever i get to a charging point and some free wi-fi, ill definitely keep in touch (and maybe even write a review or too  )

anyway, i worked on a demo last night, and it's pretty outrageous, and i managed to post the 320demo (ironically named "UmmM") on my mySpace, so it's the final track from the Baron until further notice...

i love and care for you guys so much, you mean the world to me. my phone number is (USA)(843-992-8166)

give me a ring if you're in LA and you have some food or a couch

other than that, ill be a ghost for a little while.

almost kills me to type this and have it not be under a review, but...

much love :w:

Hmmm, nice sounds, like that weird harpsichord sounding thing, but I think ur bassline is out of tune? It works when it's on it's own, but not with those chords (I think it's just one note that's off) :P Nice production on the drums though, sounding lovely

http://www.labwerxdjs.net/music/hipnoti ... 0Trill.mp3

Again, the drums sound great, nice choice of sounds. When the midrange basses switch up and the end of the bars about halfway through it sounds cool, and when everything drops out towards the end it sounds lush! The whole track should be based around that ending if u ask me ;)

http://www.labwerxdjs.net/music/hipnotikk/rgt/OTM.mp3

Big evil bass drone. Nice. Everything's coming through nicely too, nice mix :) Only complaint would be that it sounds a bit too rigid. Maybe try pushing your snare back a touch, or turning up the swing?

http://www.labwerxdjs.net/music/hipnoti ... se%201.mp3

Cool squelchy panned bass man! It overpowers the mix slightly though.
thanks brothers!

Esser - Headlock [Midnight Conspiracy Dubstep remix] (original track with video) -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHQCOkSGnKs

I posted this in unfinished tracks but I'm pretty burnt out working on it so I'm gonna call it done, but I would love some feedback on this! I've been producing for a while experimenting with different styles, and i recently discovered dubstep, so i figured id give it a shot. This is my first attempt at a dubstep track, and I used Logic 9. Any feedback would be appreciated. :W:

Thanks Knell for the reviews, i'm sure we can all keep them up whilst he's gone. I'm up for it anyway! Take care bro, hope everything works out and someone around LA see's this.
