decided to check my record player my sticking it into my mixer without an amplifier. sound isn't amazing but being able to hear my records in any state is cool!

When I was a kid, my brother and I used to stay up listening to Motown records on this crappy old portable record player in a red leather box (!?) without any speakers so my Mum thought we were asleep... if you're quiet enough you can just listen to the needle against the groove.

I really want to do that again one day.

yeah i don't know what to be more amazed by in that - the fact a little needle on some plastic can pick up so much detail or the fact a human ear can - and human ears are pretty shit as far as animal ears go!

and i just got a call off a pub and now have a job interview tomorrow!

It was £45 for two days to see sasha and scuba then go into a zoo then see a secret sundayze line up! about 10 of us went and it was pretty awesome.

Mayyyyyybe, it was discussed yesterday but my Saturday is going to be a bit of a rush what with having to work in the morning and I really don't want her to be waiting on her ones at a station whilst my boss throws a cockney strop and refuses to let me leave on time or something... she's probably more likely to tag along for Subloaded, but we shall see!
