i thought the village was fantastic. people just love hating on shyamalan because he likes twists and audiences feel like twists are insults to their intelligence. the entire mob mentality surrounding shyamalan's films is a fascinating phenomenon. dude makes great movies though imo. looking forward to checking out airbender.

The Village was cool. I think part of the reason he gets hate is everyone obviously expects the twists now, so they spend the whole time trying to figure out what the twist will be and not enough time enjoying the movie. I really like Unbreakable as well, I think there was good tension in that film and I'm hoping they do another one as they have been hinting at.

unbreakable is his best film.

you cannot deny the happening was one of the worst films ever made though.
