My humble but comfortable set-up since moving it to another room, there's a couple more guitars plus a set of 1200's not pictured. Note: my precious JCM900 currently being used as a monitor stand, this is a temporary feature =)

and as previously posted my beloved reel to reel recorder

I just finished a rackmount Sound lab MiniSynth which is pretty limited but very cool to sample from.
Nice soundlab you got there!!
Just recently finished mine. I put mine into a keyboard case and am going to build a multi fx foot pedal into it soon.
As you say great to take some samples from.
pics soon.

im definately jealous of the numerous pairs of Dynaudios i see here. ive got the Alesis MKII's , they get the job done, when i actually put some effort into it.

Love threads like these. Gives me the drive to buy some fancy gear and get more serious about my production.
Would put a pick up of my setup but all i have is a laptop and its doing the job at the moment.
Next pay day i think im just going to blow it all and get some fancy gear.

If you look at the setups and listen to the tunes on producers myspace pages then as far as I can see/hear all you need is some decent monitors and a midi controller.

Most gear is overrated.
You can have a very efficient studio with little cost.
Audio interface
Midi keyboard
Monitors
Rock solid computer
done.
I wanted to buy a bunch of gear when I had none, because I thought it would help my tunes out. It didn't really do anything for me for the most part, except ruin my workflow.
Honestly, its sick to have a Virus TI to twist knobs on and make some super sick sounds, but I would use its VST interface more than physically playing with it, and the same pretty much goes with everything else.
I have to set up my sequencer to send midi data out to my bass station and have that route audio back into digital and record it in my sequencer...Much easier to use a vst with the same if not better audio quality.
Space is also very limited with me, not to mention wires and power supplies, etc. Makes me jealous to see that Akai MPK, that is a sick controller, and would make my life a million times easier if i owned one.

Jesus Lee, how the fuck do some of you guys accumulate all that stuff? It all looks so dope but does it really make a difference? I'm about to make the switch from PC to outboard equipment, just asking. I've been told it more or less depends on the individual..
