Mr Simpson, whose company offers wealthy clients the opportunity to shoot lions, leopards and buffalo, is being detained in a cramped and filthy jail cell with 80 other inmates in what he has described as a ‘nightmare’
Sounds like karma to me.

Apparently he spoke to the daily mail on a mobile phone that he managed to smuggle in to the the prison. Bullshit story.

innit, so many people were attending the facebook events, pretty sure nothing ever happened with it. Waste campaign

KONY 2012 was this years X Factor. The words band and wagon spring to mind. I fucking hate sheep.
Least that guy took a load of drugs and had a wank in rush hour traffic.

Atleast this bandwagon was for a positive cause, no need to talk shit about it

Most bandwagons have a positive cause...hardly likely to find a Facebook campaign dedicated to stomping toddlers.

This whole thing was massively embarrassing. How people see through this straight away is beyond me. To be honest I'm willing to bet that half the people that shared the video didn't even watch it/check out the website/do anything other than click share aka the "lookatmeImagoodpersonandIcare" button.
The only cause here was making profit out of misery.

Agree with all of this, it was as if people thought that if they didn't share the video they would turn in to Kony!

Yeah but nobody cared about the cause. It was all over in about 2 weeks. Fair enough if something had got done, or people had been bothered for longer than their short, throw-away attention span allowed.

Debatable, people THOUGHT it was for a positive cause and hence they shared the vid, the actual motives of the organisation behind it all seemed shadier than meets the eye though

Not really, I did some searching about, and the organization wasn't that shady. Only thing is, they use quite alot of money trying to get the message out there, and less money on the actual cause.
And btw, I shared the video, not because I wanted to show I cared and blablabla, but in hope that some of my friends maybe would donate to a organization and help people in need out.
