I remember making the mistake of going to the bar on Halloween some years back...packed full of bar Noobs drunk and annoying as fuck.

A Colorado "dubstep" party on Halloween (I'm assuming 18+)....uhhhh lol no thanks!

either way, enjoy your night at the show :Q:
LMAO. You guys are fucking gay. Damn Hipsters.

This was the craziest show I've been too...and it was sold-out of course :W:

Sonny, Gareth, and Rob Swire are playing altogether at the same time on top of the haunted house.

I was rollin balls. And I was in the front middle of the crowd.
good job, want a cookie? -r-
calls every true head a hipster Hi, I'm a homophobe.
demands respect and serious feedback in the production forum

seriously, why does most of the electro house / brostep producers/djs/promoters have to act like stnuc? We get this everyday in every board. Some people just don't like the vibes of your commercial stadium filling music. You don't see dungeon heads bashing everyone just because some people think it's a stale and boring formulaic sound, for fucks sake.
@Cheef Idk...you should ask yourself that? The time you had sounds amazing. :4:

@Hircine 1. Assumes that I called every true head a "hipster" ? I was replying back to two people that disses on the type of music I listen to/time I had? And YOU'RE also constantly in this "brostep thread"....hmmm sounds like a bunch of insecure hypocrite fucks to me.

2. Act like stnuc? Look at your self in the mirror and ask this question.

Why do I hate people enjoying this type of music/having a good time? Why am I negative and emo? Why do I ASSUME shit 24/7?

Of course my post/audience was towards those "bro" kids. I never forced you and whoever else to watch those videos. I don't think I've ever seen a kid on here, go to a thread with dungeon music and bash on your guys topic/videos you posted. Ever. Right?

You're just insecure, probably got touched by your daddy when your little/parents are probably dead, grew up a military brat etc. <<<<I assumed this shit cuz IDK why you're such a little bitch about things. You tell me cuz you sound mad at the world about stupid shit.

I'ma assume some stupid shit cuz I clearly don't understand why you guys are so butt-hurt.

1. You like the rain.
2. You grew up in the sewer, so you live for that reverb. Nah Mean? Tossing rocks at rats n shit, recording dat shit with ur walkman recorder.
3. You only listen to a few genres of music.
4. You don't know how to produce at that level of "Knife Party" so you feel more good/comfortable about yourself sounding really close to Mala etc.(Here's a similarity...I hate rich people, but if I was rich..that would be dope aka hypocrite)
5. You dwell on the past.
6. You weren't popular in high school, you hate almost anything mainstream/popular. You come here to vent cuz you have no friends. Dungeon kids on forum = sense of comfort/home/friends. Bro kids on forum = reminds you of popular kids in highschool/mainstream shit and you carry that mentality around with you in the real-world.

"stale and boring formulaic sound" <<hmmm like the song in your sig? Sounds like you copy and pasted that "wobble" for 2 minutes, no movement or progression besides that slight automation that was copy and pasted also. BUT of course you do have that bubble popping sound now and then with some reverb and slight delay.

Here's why I like "Brostep" so we're more understanding.

1. I've grew up playing the violin/guitar/drums. I've listened to every genre growing up, seen the structure/melodies etc. of how each one works. "Brostep/popular Electronic music" has those melodies I thrive for.
2. Energy Driven music like Post-Hardcore with the breakdowns and solos were the only concerts I went to go see live. Even though I love shit like 311, Interpol, Anathallo, etc. "Brostep" has those similarities live, with the quick melody progressions and quick- upbeat distorted sounds.
3. I love how complex some of their sound designs are, I love a challenge, and I'm ADHD with music. They have a lot going on.

Here's what I don't like about it.

1. Most of it sounds the same nowadays.
2. People like KDrew, Tristam, Skism etc. are shitty. Their stuff sounds like other artists/a massive patch they got on youtube.
3. Seems like all the new production of songs are half-assed and lazy, same pew pews in every song. I don't hear crazy reeses in Feed Mes new shit etc.
4. Most of those kids that do like this are like you guys...saying what's real dubstep and what's not. I think all of you guys are funny and it's a joke to me.

QuestionableCause wrote:always wonder why brosteppers are so quick to throw around homophobic epithets when some of the most prominent producers in that scene are the most efféte-looking milquetoasts I've ever seen.
You're in a bro thread dumbass. And I'm getting attacked for just the music I listen too? Grow up. I don't randomly hate people cuz the type of music they listen too...nor do I hate dungeon.

It's funny how quick you guys react to this shit, it's going to be okay...you'll live another day.
