i don't think many people think it's particularly groundbreaking or owt, just that there's more producers coming and making stuff along the same sort of lines so may as well put them together in a thread...

anyway, cant really think of another scene that's got so many decent new producers coming up right now so encouraging that alone can only be a good thing imo

That's just a handful though man. People like Beneath, Epoch, Double Helix, Mumdance and Dusk & Blackdown themselves aren't doing that. Hopefully the rise of this grime-y stuff again will make people dig into the back catalogue a little deeper too.
i have time for mumdance tbf. used to listen to dusk and blackdown ona regular but i don't rate the stuff they're pushing. it's not shit (i've never said any of the stuff in this thread is), i just don't rate what i'm hearing let alone reading on here.

don't tell me it's a handful though when in just the past two pages alone i've seen bootlegs of 'rhythm n gash', mondie's 'straight', and hype talk about a guy who recently released this monstrosity http://soundcloud.com/visionist/visioni ... angels-e-p. (this 'ep' is an insult to the originals btw).

lol i'll come correct when necessary but don't tell me it's a handful mate, they're very much a main element of this thread.

Ok man, no need to come so aggy about it.

Fairs, I'm not a big fan of visionist, so I don't pay much attention to posts about him, but the other people doing grime bootlegs, often do 'em just for a free giveaway or something. It's hardly the main focus of this thread, most of the tunes are original creations rather than bootlegs.

99% of your posts are aggy and you know it. Fuck it, you're the most boring person on DSF now, predictable post after predictable post. If somebody said the earth orbits the sun you'd disagree. tbh ur gettin foed lululu, can't be arsed to see you try and ruin a thread you supposedly ain't interested in.

That funktionz remix is just... why? don't get the point. It would've been a nice opener just with some pads underneath without the forced flute samples. Fairs, I get it if you're influenced by grime, but you don't have to force a reference to the classics into every tune.

stop seething @ your keyboard. i like how you cut out the link posted to prove you wrong. the second guy on here to purposely ignore actual facts and ramble on instead about some cringe-worthy obsession with my posts.

*says bootlegs are given for free*

*is proven wrong with a bandcamp link asking for £3.50 or more"
(the guy didn't even ask for permission to sell that btw, the fuckeries that some of you man are pushing in this thread)

ignoring people after being proven wrong  . anyone would think that these guys made the majority of beats itt.

like said, summed up these 2/3 people perfectly. place is quick becoming a joke.

i don't see how it's that different to when people used to release white label bootlegs of grime tunes back int' day

he acknowledges they're refixes so dont really see much problem with that
