Nahh, not that i remember at least. I can tell you this, however:

It's not on Babylon Vol.1
It's not on Babylon Vol.2
It's not on either of his albums
The Trumpets aren't actually that prominent
It's very bro/tearout
It actually sounds like a good version of Borgore - Love, in terms of the notation.
It might be a Caspa tune lolol because i think i've checked all Rusko's singles on discogs, but i don't actually remember Caspa ever being good.

However, by listening to all his tracks, i've really just remembered that pre-mad decent rusko was really fucking good. Even the wobble stuff.

Not on the fabriclive mix they did?
Could be subscape or someone else from dubpolice.

agree totally with that last thing u said.. rusko was why i fell for the sound in the first place and i can still proudly say his old tracks are pure madness. also the tons of obscure remixes that he's done are brilliant. i had a similar situation as you had except that i learnt that i have the tune on vinyl (it was moaners)

a blast from the past.

I liked James Blakes reaction to this remix.

And the best liquid dubstep.

Or is it Chillstep?

I think this is slighly drum dub though, with a bit of eastern european style cheese house,

So really i would classify this as.... Jungle

Have you tried checking everything on the two lost dubs vols Rusko gave out?

Also Rusko probably does have more but some good ones from Caspa are Rubber Chicken, Custard Chucker (w/ Rusko), Fat Headed Slags, Cockney Violin, Cockney Flute, Losing my Marbles, Homesick and LFO King. Those last 3 are all really old dubs though, as in 2006 or earlier.

@facesofdubstep Skream - Kinky has porn samples in and that dates back to 2008. Doesn't make it a genre though

I must have been mistaken, it's none of those :(

The notation is similar to Borgore - Love, the main synth is similar to the one in Woo Boost and there's a nice shuffle under the track.... shall i just give up? I think i will...

:(

This is so touching, i always know everything will turn out fine with my fellow brostep-thread-ers on my side.
:w:

I'm going to look skim throughthis later as i'm sure it must be on this if it is actually a tune he made or on sub soliders or dub police (i heard it in 2009 i think and this was 2008). Hunting this tune is doing my head in, i actually saw it on a youtube video for an Aqua Teen Hunger Force remix thing, thought the guy who made the video was the producer but ended up hearing it at a later date just once. Couldn't find the video just now (guess it's been removed) so i looked through all the comment replies i have on Youtube since the day i signed up (over 500, three years wort) and got bored.

This is now my holy grail of brostep. Heed my descriptions, subjects, and bring it to me.

Actually, just found this, should be really helpful.

Yeah, the intro is really fucking crap, but 1:03 is still sick to me! I wish it would just skip to that bit after the first few bars :( and that fucking vocal, urgh

heeeheheehehe well, the trumpet part i got wrong, but in my memory the fourth bar sounded like a trumpet. But the dun-dun-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan-dan daaaan-daaaan" bit i got correct.

By the way, loads of Rusko's old tunes have aged terribly. Bionic Commando is still the one :P:

oh yeah, also read Flux Pavilion's info on the Circus site. Wow

Also, note how the other artists talk about Music 2000 and Rusko's "bass-driven" take on dubstep as inspirations. I don't understand... when listening to the Rusko essential mix the guy said he had a new "bass-driven take" on dubstep.
