I'm saying he prioritized having a go at trying to become a us rap artist, over maintaining his spot as a young fresh producer that even got a mercury prize for his work, that inluded him making the beats. It was never going to happen, but maybe he was apart from a few jamaicans and canadians the closest to maybe getting there, but it was a dumb decision not just artistically.
