Ditto it took GTA style sandbox games to an exotic locale compared to most, added an awesome Arkham style melee combat system, had gorgeous graphics and awesome music. I mean Ninja Tune and Warp radio? Come on!
The story and characters were well written and acted too. Plus Karaoke!

AC 3 really screwed up that whole franchise for me. Been playing AC since the 1st one dropped, was one of my top series. LIke you said, everything about those games was just brilliant. I won't say anything to ruin AC 3 for you, I just feel like they could have done a much better job.

But play it thru and lemme know what you thought about it, definitely some interesting content

Well, they did add some new aspects to the series in AC 3. LIke the rope knife and some new side quest activities, climbing trees, hunting, naval battles.

Most MGS fans haven't even heard of the original MG games (or too young) or even Kojima's masterpiece Snatcher.

Been playing the shit out of the Dead Nation mod for ArmA 3, it's just ArmA 3 DayZ with all the new stuff and new island. Still a lil bit buggy, but fun as shit.

I've been interested in getting into the Persona series. Did you play 3 before 4?

3 is a peach, there's only one dungeon though which gets a bit repetitive

Such a shame... How can one even be considered a MGS fan and not know about the history of Solid/Liquid Snake?

Graphics card seems to have given up.
Luckily still under warranty so I should be getting a new upgraded card next week.
Looking at a Radeon HD7770 or GTX 650 range of cards.
Not sure what to get yet.
I'd like to spend a bit more and get a better car but the price jump is mad to higher end cards.
