Hi there, I'm new to dubstep and would like some feedback on a WIP.

 fuckin soundcloud is being a whiny tnuc, not uploading my tracks properly.

This is a remix of Dj Shadow's Blood On The Motorway.

Sounds ok, nice raw synths, clean production, interesting beats. Tempo goes off sync around 50sec mark and the track weakens a lot towards the end. A lot of unused frequencies also makes the track sound a bit empty. Decent start, but needs work.

It sounds very, very good for your first tune. I get the feeling that you actually know what you're doing although it's your first time producing.
I liked pretty much all of your sounds, especially the bass. Your beat was quite nice too. It has that shuffling feel and the samples match well together.

The downsides are your bassline, which I think you should put in minor keys to make it sound "angry" or "dark". Also, the song is lacking some production work. Everything sounds very dry, if you know what I mean. You need to use some reverb on your pads and ambient stuff and also on your drums to make them sound more realistic. Also, put short delays on some hits. The reverb and delays will add depth and dimension to your track and maybe even some atmosphere. But you really gotta know what you're doing when adding reverb and delays, because if you do it wrong, it will just sound like shit.

All in all, big ups for being your first tune. Its very promising.

i had to listen to this a few times but overall i think its pretty dope..

also i think if you made the drop at 0:27 sec sound a little more aggresive it would be even harder.

maybe an mc would be dope.

anyways..

good shit. keep it coming.

A deep, melodic track that my buddy and I are near finishing ... a couple of things are obviously rough and out of sync, but I'd love some feedback!

It's a fuckin nice track, good production, good progression, good sounding synths....A nice chillout piece. Only suggestions would be to maybe add a bit more variation? Also the ending is a bit abrupt.

Now I just need someone to give mine feedback :/

big tune, dont really have any constructive critisism cause im kinda shit like that. One of those songs that i cant listen to the whole way through with out getting bored. Great development of the synth as it went on and the later drum groove was really nice.

keep it up sir :e:

sorry for not being more prompt with my feedback, but i didnt notice you had a track up

Im feeling the synth and vibe and the tunes definatley got some progression to it but I think the drums and bass are letting the track down. Id say find a cleaner sounding kick and snare and maybe reduce the freq of the bass also that really agressive midrange sound could be chilled out a little more cos it changes the style of the tune too much. As im using my headphones I'm not too sure what the mixdown is saying but the bass doesn't seem to cut much either. Still decent but with some more work could be a lot better.

FIRST POST - FIRST DUB. Seriously, just learned Ableton in this past week, tried to bang something substantial out for a few hours tonight. This is the result. After testing it in my car I noticed some kind of weird sub-bass/synth dissonance, but I can't be sure. Let me know. It's supposed to be a head-nodder. 8)
