Err, not sure how I really got started other than borrowing my dad's Canon 350D, slowly progressing from aperture/speed priority mode into Manual, then through to analogue stuff (and then back to full-frame digi)

I've been teaching a mate how to manual on film, he's picked it up 10x quicker than I did, because shooting on film forces you to work out what the fuck you're actually doing.

Not much help, good luck though, loadsa fun.

There is an Online collaborative video/animation project on another forum .If you'e not too busy with projects and wanna get involved , it would be cool for you to contribute in some way-even if its just textures, 3d models,ideas etc...A lot of cool artists,animators and music and sound heads working on it. Still only in storboard phase but people already have some stuff for it. Going about it properly.

Oh and it's about someone preparing to trip, and then tripping through a dmt'esque hyperspace but with an actual kind of storyline between the more purely psych-aestehtic bits
