Just seen "The Other Guys"

Friggin' hilarious. Will Ferrell at his best.

"You thinking what I'm thinking, partner?"

"Aim for the bushes"
"You either you die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain"

Just saw 'The Informant' the other day, it was a great comedy that actually makes you think about every line, an intelligent flow reminiscent of 'Burn After Reading' :D Matt Damon played a great part and I'm not a big fan of him, so big ups!

Also since I work at a movie theatre, I have to see like every movie. The most pointless, waste-of-time out right now, as expected is 'The Last Exorcism'.. Do NOT see this garbage, it's basically like Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity

Faux-Documentaries.. gotta go. :u:

I thought this was terrible!

Waaay too long, and the situational stuff for the most part wasnt funny.

I'm tempted to go watch Scott Pilgrim again before it dissapears out cinemas. I must have liked it more than I thought.

That's the only one in our theatre that I haven't seen. Judging by the previews I thought it would be dumb, but every time I walk in, it looks like my kind of movie! Especially the hint of Zelda soundtrack in there when he's going to pee :P

Resident Evil Afterlife : C+ if you're old enough to have worshiped the gaming series you probably somewhat enjoyed the other movies.... this omvie is par for the course.

Ghost Writer: B+ really pretty fucking decent. Takes a while to ramp up but delivers in the end.

The American: D- fucking terrible. Further proof Clooney can't carry a movie.

I think that's Arfonsky's weakest. I should perhaps get the bluray and reevaluate.

I went and watched Scott Pilgrim again tonight. I NEVER go and see a film twice. I must have liked it a lot more than I thought. If Sex Bob Omb were a real band they'd be my favourite. So much is packed into the film that I spotted a lot of things that I never noticed before - like Neil eating one of the coins after the last battle. I also realised something that's been bugging me - Envy, I knew her face. Since I saw it first time I realised it's the daughter from United States of Tara since I started watching the 2nd series a few weeks ago. Anyway, my fave of the year, and I think it's one of those that will just get more popular with time. I'm very loathe to giving new films 5/5, but it's pretty close.

I watched Sherlock Holmes last night too. Dunno why I never got around to it at the cinema. I love the whole look of the film, very steampunk. RDJ too, can't go wrong with him. Was surprised it was so action packed and doubly shocked that it actually worked. Great bromance between Holmes and Watson kept the banter flowing nicely, and Mark Strong is just brilliant isn't he? Nicely set up for Moriarty in the sequel too. Bring it on!
