Loved Dubstep since I was about 12, with the first song I heard being Rusko - Jahova. Since then I have always been into the deep, dark side of it and the dirty, nasty field. I started producing with Cubase when I was about 13, and I now use Logic at school and Reason at home (I'm trying to save up for a mac).

That pretty much sums it up :)

welcome! :w: have you ever been to any of the foundation nights like fwd or system or dmz?

I wish, the closest I've came to that is festivals.. Seen Skream, Benga, N-Type, and Joker all at Big Chill.. All were sick. Whats it like at the foundation nights?

Hey everybody! I'm new here i've been lurking for a few months but i've finally decided to not be a lurker anymore and actually try to contribute. I've been making Dubstep for about a year now, wont post my soundcloud link cause that just seems douchy while introducing myself.

Being as i've only been into dubstep for a year i consider myself a hella noob even though i've been producing with FL Studio for about 8 years now, mostly messing around and hip hop beats. Favorite Dubstep right now is Skream and Cyberoptics so my dubstep taste is kinda skewed. I just love music and hope to be welcomed to you guys community...or be shunned and outcast to be a badass either one is cool!

Greetings people!

My name is Alex aka. King Lex, I'm 24 years old and from the Netherlands.
I've been using FL Studio for the past 5 years now, i first started making hiphop/rap beats before becoming a reggae producer.

I got bored of making reggae tunes all the time so i started experimenting with dubstep/brostep music.
I will post some of my music at the feedback forum. I'm very curious of what you guys think of it!

Bless!

Hi, My name is Val Cain.

I've been making dubstep/electro for about 2 years now. I was a pro studio engineer for 7 years, I have some television composing experience and put out a few rock/industrial albums. Now I am working mainly on my electro projects under the name V1L1NT. I got into dubstep because all the sounds I heard were beyond what my mind could comprehend and it just seemed like this was the future of music, something new. I want to create crazy fucking music and I figured being part of a community of other dubstep producers would be the best place to get inspired and improve my production skills.

Why are you acting like a complete know it all with anything dubstep related? Your attidude towards people comes across as arrogant especially when you probably didnt even know dubstep music existed until a year ago.

Hi Dubstepforum.com!

This is Sounds4Beats touching base with y'all.

The main reason for wanting to be here so much is to network, and find up and coming talented SOUND DESIGNERS/PRODUCERS who are seeking exposure, and an opportunity to earn some money in the process. Furthermore, if you are more than up and coming, and are interested, you are obviously also very welcome to get in touch.

Are you capable of creating some killer sound packages for producers, that challenge the sounds used in current commercial hits?

Particularly wanted at the moment are sounds and loops for Dubstep, Pop, RnB, and Hip Hop music. Sound packages for any other genres will also be considered (Film/TV/Soundtrack sounds/fx and music loops would be great)! Just make sure that whatever package you propose, looks and (more importantly) sounds ready to sell.

So.....nothing bog-standard please, only greatness! Check out some of the pro-producer packs by established artists out there and compare them with yours. If you still feel confident, then please get in touch.

The file types required are; wavs, aiffs, plug-in patches (for various soft synths), rex files, Acid loops, files for Reason, Fruity Loops, Logic Pro, and anything else you may think of. Please don't include mp3 files in the packs.

The main types of sounds required are basses, subs, synth-leads, wobbles, anything insane, lush dreamy pads, killer drum sounds, fx (plenty build transitions, rises, falls etc)......oh and loops.

You don't have to included everything mentioned. Maybe you want to make a pack of wobbles, a pack of drum kits, or a mixture of stuff. It's completely up to you. Whatever you do best!

If you're interested, then either send a link to some audio examples, or if you already have something to propose, you're welcome to send a zip folder of your producer pack, along with a good quality mp3 demo preview made with the sounds you are selling (lasting 45sec-60secs).

If you're really flash and could provide a video advert, then great (but not essential just yet). Also include a picture to advertise your pack with your artist logo on. If you haven't got a logo/artwork and have problems getting it done, we will get that done for you by someone who will do it at a discount rate.

If you would like to know more, please contact Paul at sounds4beats@gmail.com

If you would like to send any media, I suggest you send it via http://www.wetransfer.com (to the same email).

The quicker the producer sound packs get here, the quicker things will be up and running. :)

Hey guys! I finally got on to these forums I have been lurking on for months! A bit about me, I started messing around in FL Studio exactly one year ago. I enjoy all kinds of electronic dance music as well as jamtronica binds like EOTO, STS9, and The Coop to name a few. I've been experimenting with dub/drumstep production but I also will work on some hardstyle as well from time to time. I'm currently using FL10 and Live (Don't know too much about it yet) to produce music and my favorite softsynths are Massive and Sylenth1! Lookin forward to learning a lot, sharing whatever knowledge I have, and making friends on here! Much love from Chicago!

Whats up skankers? Im Paul, a Scottish lad getting right into producing Dubstep, and possibly venture into other forms of music - Hardstyle possibly even though I am a dubstep man and hardstyle must be half the effort.

Im in the middle of producing my first song and will get it up for ya to skank to (hopefully).
