Wenger is clearly employing a long term strategy at Arsenal - save up enough money for enough years then when he has enough he will buy every single top player in Europe out of their contracts and win all the competitions by default

It's genius I tells ya

There has been no money worth speaking about to spend as we have paid for Emirates, but that has literally just been cleared, coupled with new TV deals AND brand new 150m sponsorship deal, arsenal will definitely be investing heavily this off season. our squad with 70m or even 50m investment will compete
we say that every year

We're safe unless results go against us and we lose by more than 11 goals at home to Stoke for our last game
Yeh, I think you are home and dry :)

Villa are safe, there's no way Sunderland are getting anything at WHL. They've been awful since the Di Canio honeymoon ended

Benteke won't be at villa next season.

There you go.

Definitely won't be. It's a shame, but pretty much inevitable. 4th highest goal scorer so far this season and playing for 16th in the league.

Who/what would we need to sign with this money to be in contention next season?

Striker, CM, CB, full back +?

i really like this villa side and hope they stay up but also that they don't get picked apart by vultures. If Benteke goes I still think the youngsters who got blooded this year should grow into a really good side and can see them coming top half next year.

Hope Delph can finally fulfil his potential too as he's probably the only chance of Leeds related glory for the foreseeable future haha

No idea why we didnt get Lloris. He went to Spurs on the cheap & they still pick Friedel half the time...

Rooney? If theyre charging £40m as rumoured i reckon theres better strikers out there for that money.
