not necessarily, a meme is an element of a culture or system of behaviour passed from one individual to another by imitation or other non-genetic means.
basically when shit gets repeated (usually variations on the same theme) for lols and the fact that its repeated adds to the funny for some people
They are human nature, particularly online, and worse the geekier the people involved, dsf is fucked.
