Your entire argument there is based on thinking im talking about fucking Falcao. 'top players' is a term exclusively for the 5 or 6 names on the market with £40M+ price tags is it? there's plenty of other top players out there you shortsighted prick.

Benfica chelsea tonight!

Since Benfica have become my second team (about a week ago lol) theyve managed to throw away the portuguese league in the last minute so hopefully I'm not the kiss of death on them, should be a great game though, both teams play nice attacking football and are pretty evenly matched. Hope Porto and Benfica keep their squads together next year and can challenge a bit more in the champions league.

Also anyone else hear about the portuguese team with average attendance of about 1500 who are in the champions league qualifiers next year? Ah, the romance is still around!

Nice! I love goals like that, one touch and pass stuff, quickly breaking on your opponents.

La Real are my third team  , I have one for each country haha, I should definitely do a football tour of Europe one day as Leeds are probably never going to get into the UEFA cup again :(

Last night was too nervy until 3-1... I don't know how I'm going to survive Sunday.

On the transfers situation, CL qualification will be a huge thing for Arsenal this season (as it always is) but I think most of the world realises what a good position the club have put themselves in financially. It still might not be up there with having an oil baron come in and create a team of stars, but it shouldn't be hard to convince anyone that Arsenal are serious about remaining a top club for the foreseeable future. The bean-counters have always implied that trophies weren't a proper priority until the stadium debt had been paid - with that done, they should be free to chase glory with a little more gusto.

In Arsene we TRUST.

why are there so many arsenal fans on here? I mean I get that there's a lot of londoners but there are no milwall, chelsea, fulham, west ham, orient or charlton fans, about 2 spurs fans and one palace.

Is arsenal a particularly dubstep team or something. Is it all down to Frimpong?

I was using Falcao as an example, he would be representative of many of the top players.

You said Arsenal could get whoever they wanted within reason.

if by 'within reason' you mean any player that the big clubs don't want, then sure. But it's a simple fact that Arsenal can't compete with the top clubs in the transfer market anymore. If a player chooses to go to Arsenal, it'll likely be because nobody else has gone in for him.

I love how agressive you're getting about this too. It's cute.

That scenario could happen if Arsenal win 2-1 at Newcastle and Chelsea draw 0-0 at home to Everton this Sunday. That would make the clubs joint third and Arsenal and Chelsea would have to face a play-off for the automatic Champions League qualification spot.
I can actually see this happening too. It's all happy days as long as the scum aren't involved tbh.

Benficas coach is funny to watch. Also sick mandrill haircut. He looks like if Wenger where rejected in trying to join the Beatles.
