nah, when i turned 27 i lowered my musical tastes, in a good way

it happened when i realized that music is about fun... my chin was almost rubbed raw but i made it out of the forest of musical drivel...

now i am able to like tunes without worry of what others will think

you should try some time!

Kind of went through the same process myself recently, probably why I've never felt the need to bash trap. It's not a case of lowering standards or losing good taste, it's simply about appreciating good music because you enjoy it, not because of what you think it says about you.

Similar deal happened when I got really into hip hop...kinda allows you to admit to liking some mainstream shit without feeling bad.

GAP is easily the worst release I've ever heard out of Tectonic, hands down. Pretty disappointing.

OHHHH! Jesus, Ive allways wondered what that song is when I heard it in mixes. I like it.

Yeah Fractal hit it on the head really. If I can take anything from Trap /whatever its that its got me into Hiphop/Rap ,stuff I wouldn't have listened to as I was never exposed to it outside of top 40 shite

I've always just liked music that I like and sounds good to me - no matter who makes it; who likes or hates it; who plays it or what people think of it.
Surely that's the whole point of music?
