I wish they'd respect proper dj's who use vinyl, instead of building hype for a good 4 months and then releasing it on digital first... so that all the cdj's can rinse it further, leaving it worthless for all the record heads...

this. imo one of the few things keeping vinyl alive is that tunes often get released/promo'd on vinyl a while before the digi release. quality aside, this keeps vinyl exclusive and offers a bit of pleasure for all those impatient people like myself! so wheres the wax?

nice artwork tho, looks like it was done by the same person who did the caspa av' its and rusko babylons.

Absolutely. I can't quite understand this move, partly for their sake... People are increasingly using digital in some form, either in its entirety or alongside vinyl. I do the latter. I may well still buy the vinyl but with the digital for a fifth of the price when the tune has been played to death digital seems like a better option.

This should never become the standard.

You lot need to all stop fucking moaning about vinyl being standard and real dj's use it etc... its such a boring argument...

The reality is vinyl will die out, like it or not. Its all about moving with the times.

The convenience, quality and cost of digital are the reasons behind it becoming more popular and also the additional creative possibilities.

And please don't give me the ridiculous vinyl sounds better argument because it simply doesn't... FACT!

Hope that gives you dedicated vinyl mongers something to whine about whilst you wank off with an exclusive 12".

LOL @ djshi, you uneducated twat... do your fucking research, buy some 1210's and some records... if you can't hear the different then that's fair enough, but I can immediately tell the difference, fact... if you read my post properly, you'd understand I was unhappy that it was released digitally, MONTHS AND FUCKING MONTHS after all the hype even died down, and now we're STILL waiting on the wax...

I mix with records because it's more enjoyable, my fuckin grandma could mix with cdj's I just don't see the fun, it bores me... don't tell me to get with the times when you go on like some super toy, bore off and go play your cdj's

I have owned 1210's for the last 7 years and have spent a fortune on vinyl (about £100-150 a month at one point) and dont see how it sounds better. it colours the sound enormously perhaps to your uneducated ears the crackles/feedback/distortion sounds amazing... not to mine.

I mix with records, cdj's and traktor scratch pro. I enjoy mixing on all 3 and dont feel the need to adhere to some vinyl only rule to enjoy a scene or its music... i still regularly buy music in all formats and probably support the scene more through just my digital purchases than you do with your vinyl only purchases...

Not too sure why you took it so personal i didn't at any point target you, perhaps you got caught out and was actually masturbating with a piece of "wax" when you read my comment and came over all flustered and felt the need to start making absurd uneducated comments...
