Really, are there laws like that?
It's just one of those things here in Sa.
Wear shoes if you want in the street.

I don't think there's laws against it, no.

He said, "your type aren't welcome in this city".
Well, good.
Maybe I should move to South Africa

You should, you would be happier as a hippy here.
I live in a fairly wealthy area but I'm almost always barefoot.
Some of the nicest lawns for walking on.

Kochari - did you notice the guy's badge number or anything?
Saying "You're not welcome in this city" to anyone who's not committing a criminal offense is a pretty good way of handing in your resignation as a police officer. You should report this if you can - that's harassment and borderline threatening behaviour, especially if he had you up against the wall.

That's what I thought when I walked into the bureau drunk at 4:30.
But no, they wouldn't believe me

Didn't get any badge numbers, but reported it to the IPCC anyway. My friend's mum went through a similar incident a few years ago and reported it, but nothing ever came. But we'll see.

I doubt you'll get much luck without a badge number - the police aren't exactly known for volunteering to incriminate themselves. It might be worth a letter to the local paper tbh... embarrass the fuckers into making a statement.

Yeah, I'm not really too bothered about getting him fired or anything, more of a general letting them know that they need to fix up. Local paper is probably a good shout as well

Student loan came in on the day my rents due, thats £400 out the window. I've put aside enough, bar one, to pay my rent and I'm like £700 overdrawn still. Bursary will pay for that extra month rent I need. Just have to live off about 6p a week for a while.
Record store day may just ruin me financially.
