I don't know what happens in the lands of not-Australia, but the Icicle, Youngsta, Skream and Joker shows (as well as some regular local nights) that I've been to recently were all full of some absolute babes. Classy girls too, not the wannabe punk trash and cheap sluts you see in brostep videos.

Creamfields Festival 2012 - 02 - Flux Pavilion (Circus Records) @ Daresbury Village (25.08.2012)

With the ability to sing and play a large variety of instruments it’s obvious that music comes naturally to Flux Pavilion aka Joshua Steele. Since first sitting down at a keyboard at the age of six his dream has been to make music that he loves, and perform it to people who love it just as much.

Influenced by the likes of The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx and dubstep pioneer Rusko, Flux loved the high energy madness that dance music was capable of and set about making some of his own in the form of dubstep. Already adept with production skills he was soon off the starting block and with his tunes swiftly generating interest on the circuit, it was soon clear that what started of as a bit of experimentation had led to Flux landing on his feet with the dubstep sound. Well known for his high energy performances & smashing anthems Flux is now performing all over the globe...

Creamfields Festival 2012 - 03 - Doctor P. (Circus Records) @ Daresbury Village (25.08.2012)

Doctor P aka Shaun Brockhurst spent many of his teen years jamming with friends, drumming and playing guitar. The acquisition of a Yamaha keyboard and hours spent on Playstation's Music 2000 fuelled his interest in the world of electronic music and he started to produce his own experimental tracks. Intrigued by high-energy beats, his early sounds were primarily dance-based with a drum and bass flavour.
When he posted his new track ‘Sweet Shop’ on his MySpace to test for interest little was Doctor P to know that this was to change the course of dubstep history and encourage a whole new generation of dubstep fans. Tinkling on the ivories and combining some chords with a vocal sample to create an old-skool house beat, Shaun created an intro that lulls the listener into a false sense of security before knocking them sideways with a jaw-dropping drop into a deep bassline complemented by a screeching synth.

Creamfields Festival 2012 - 04 - Skream feat. MC SGT Pokes (Tempa) @ Daresbury Village (25.08.2012)

Ollie 'Skream' Jones is on a major roll. The 24 year old Croydon DJ, producer and original dubstepper had the festival anthem of last year with his Let's Get Ravey remix of La Roux's 'In For The Kill'; he's just been featured on the cover of NME with his Magnetic Man co-stars Benga and Artwork; and as we speak, he is all over Radio 1 with the first single from his second solo album, Outside The Box. Album aside, life's busy for Oliver Jones. He's back DJing after taking some time out at the start of the year, switching up his DJ sets to include 4/4, techno, garage and grime – in fact there's a brilliant track with Newham Generals 'I Can't Wait' that missed the album tracklist by a whisker – and, most weeks, hosting his Rinse FM show–now alongside Benga–where listeners get to hear new tunes and Skream and Benga's inimitable banter.

Creamfields Festival 2012 - 05 - Benga feat. Youngman MC (Tempa) @ Daresbury Village (25.08.2012)

Already in his fifteenth year of making music, Benga made his first track on Fruity Loops at the age of 9 before taking up DJing at 11 years-old. Three years later he wondered into Croydon’s eponymous Big Apple record shop with his rude boy mates and announced, “I can DJ better than him.” The ‘him’ was Hatcha, who, alongside Artwork and DMZ are widely credited with conceiving Dubstep. Artwork and Hatcha were amused; they gave the cocky teenager a shot at spinning in the shop, and seeing his prodigious talents, signed him on the spot to Big Apple Records. Over the next few years, Benga and his friend Oliver ‘Skream’ Jones’s creations could be heard during Hatcha’s sets at seminal night FWD>>. Benga Beats: Volume 1 and Newstep established him as a serious soundscaper, though it was 2008’s Night, with DMZ’s Coki that became one of Dubstep’s definitive anthems.

Your Skream bio is outdated by like two years.

Also Flux Pavillion looks like he's melting.
