Completely disagree. First one was great, was way more of a "period film" compared to the last two, Barbosa was a great character too. If you watch the last two then go back to the first its just such a better film altogether. They got cheesier and cheesier, turning Jack Sparrow from a kinda funny quirky character to completely ridiculous "cash in on the comedy" money maker.
