globalize - needs some more meat! you've got these great drum and bass patterns, beef them up a little bit! composition, melodies etc all work very well

jimbeaux- like the kick and snare, the fx add to the song very well! nicely composed and sounds are good!

leave blank- thanks for the feedback and I know what you mean. just felt like making some filth-ish stuff. your track is also produced very well and you really have your own style. cool :)

pixelscum- intros nice and dark, mixdowns okay so far. all i can say is sick tune mate, ill be having a 320 of that when its done! ;)

Burgeamon- nice vox cut ups at the start. nice main section, the wobbles could have been more melodic and it would have been such a heavy tune. on the whole the mix seems quite dry to me as well, definitely the drums need reverb and properly mixing down. vox are too prominent slightly as well, need turning down and eqing then add a little a bit of reverb. on the whole, could be an immense tune though.

jimbeaux- really good ideas here mate, nice bass sounds. a few of the sounds need processing more thoiugh, sound a bit muffled and dry at times. on the whole nice tune.

Heres my current project, really bare but its a start, ignore the last bit as well, taking that synth out and building on it more.

elyhess: Nice bass, digging those basses! Try processing them a little more, get them fitting with the beat a little better, and you will have yourself a tune!

pixelscum: This is sweet! I really like the swooshes before the snares, really add to the feel. Nice percussion, and great bass. Nothing to improve here, sounds sick all around.

Congojack: You have a great idea, but you need a stronger mixdown, that snare sounds tinny and weak. Try layering more samples, and giving it some punch at the 200 hz region. You have the right idea with layout though, all the elements are right, and the vocal is perfect. Keep improving!

take2: Nice work, love the bass, and mixdown is sounding great. Those hats fit nicely too.

Cheeky: Sounds sick, you know your stuff! Mabye make that mixdown a bit tighter, but it does sound good so far!

Here is my WIP, it is a new Dubstep track I am preparing for my new EP. Let me know what you think! If you notice anything at all let me know. Also, those rapping voices won't be in for the final version, forgot to mute. Thanks

tomkay: i love the sounds you are using in here, very different. the only thing sound off are the kicks. overall its a sick groove and great melody. sounds like it just needs more mixing down and adjusting levels on your percussion. LOVE that second drop. the new bass sound is unexpected but works very well, it gets a little muddy, but with mixing im sure itll sound fine

pixelscum: love the slow beat and sporadic wobbles. I like the percussion elements you picked as well. lots of good reverses and little beepers. If anything id like to hear the mid bass sections come out a little more. they sound a bit distant. overall great track, the progression is good too, i might do some more changes to the melody towards the ends of the verses to keep it interesting. sick tune tho and the percussion is mixed down very well

take2: love the glitchiness of this tune. lots going on here and the sound jumps around great. there are a couple of bass sounds that stick out as needing a bit more processing till they fit the mold perfectly. but overall i love this track, it has so much going on and so many elements that it doesnt get boring. love the percussion too, it sounds mixed really well

here is my latest wip: there are sections still under construction but everything is there... looking to get some feedback on the bass overall and the percussion mixdown. Thanks in advance!

@ Anne Droid- Loving the 8 bit vibe mixed with sub bass at the beginning, but there isn't any swing to it, it's not something you can really dance to, the wobbles seem kind of random, the machine gun change up is sick though. practice your mixing a little too, some of those basses were harsh

@Noisestorm, sick song, the snare is fucking mint and that build up is great. a little to skrillexy though imo. other than that, awesome shit.

here's my newswet wip

@Cheeky Nice bass sounds, definitely a little bare, but that is why its wip :P It sounds good though, i definitely see this becoming deadly :)
@NoiseStorm Loving that snare man! :o this is deadly, well done :) Looking forward to the finished version!
@Anne Droid I don't have speakers im using a laptop, but i like the track, the only thing i'd say is maybe fill it out a bit more, to me the track seems a little bare.

This is mine:

@Noisesstorm: Haha very skrillexy. Actually even though I feel thats its got a skrillex style, you did it right. I really like the track not much I can complain about.

@Anne Droid: The intro sound is wicked cool. Actually your whole intro made me want to hear more. So its well done. The rest of the track is also well done. I just want to hear that percussion you have because it sounds wicked, I just can't hear it too much its too lost in the mix.

@Crow Steppa: Ugh man that "rising" sound in there is so dope!!!! Your hats are pretty nice too. I like what you've got there. Add an intro and outro and call it a day. Cant wait to hear more!

@AcidRat: The intro was a little bit too long for me, I felt like I was waiting for the drop for too long. But once it dropped WOW! I like your sounds. The only problem is that your drums have fallen so far back in the mix that I barely hear ANY DRUMS. Great sounds though.

And heres an updated version of the track I first posted, I layered the kick so its nice and fat now, and I also changed the snare completely so now its more punchy. I added some simple automation during my "transitions" One of the problems I'm having though is "changing the drum pattern" like most of you suggested. I feel that its such a dark track that the simple "kick snare" just works. If any of you have tips on the drums or any ideas let me know when you leave feedback. Thanks guys! Oh, and also the original is still on my sound cloud if you want to hear it before I made the few changes.

@AcidRat: tune needs a bit more modulation i'd say, when it was that same wobble repeating itself in the drop it just made me laugh XD but maybe thats because im slightly trippy atm

@tomkay13: feelin that joker tune brah, got a lot of potential; definitely need to turn down the levels though its way too loud

@antman: tunes sounding hench mate, drop was heavy indeed; finish this motherfucker and set me a 320 :D

yh heres my new work in progress; quite a chilled vibe on this one.. any feedback appreciated :D

@Burgeamon - thanks for the feedback man. your track sounds very skrillex influenced for sure. and sounds good indeed!! the mid break melodies are really nice. i'd bring the grime wobs up in the mix just a hair, or adjust the eqs a bit to make the crunch come out some. overall a very nice well track. much respect!!

@elyhess - thank you sir for the feedback. the herbaceousplants track is pretty decent. just needs some more one shot sounds and fillers an such. a good foundation for tons of variation for sure. those grime wobs need a bit more punch, but the synthy bassline is sounding pretty good.

@tomkay13 - i'd cut the lows some it seems a bit fat on the low end for sure. the bass riff flows nicely though i can hear this track going many different ways tonally. solid start for sure.

@pixelscum- thank you sir for the feedback. im really dign this track, drums sound nice an solid, mixdown is pretty tight for sure. just add you some delayed samples and stabs an such in the higher spectrum here an there. maybe just a bit of verb on the main wobs. i feel like they are to in front, like not far enough away to fit the space of the drums. but its really awesome otherwise. nice work indeed!

@take2- really liking this intro man. build just before drop is sweeeet. drop is proper! im really diging the echo sounds above the wobs. id eq the screamfilter sounding wobs just bit. they sound good just bit harsh on the upper mids. also the drums sounds good, patterns are also nice. hi hats are really nice. overall mixdown just needs to be tightened up an this track will be forreal solid as f*ck. very good job man.

@cheeky - thanks for the feedback good sir. intro seemed a bit long to me, but has plenty of room for other layers. :4: loving the dark atmosphere in this one. wobs are filthy. and that slow sweep rise is sweeeet. the air horns could come down a bit in the mix imo. really nice sounds in this.

@noisestorm - something sound familiar about this tune... lol. very well produced. mixdown is solid. can't really say anything about other than good job.

@anne droid - very dark vibe in this one. im liking those high pitched noises in there. your wobs need a bit more space to them. they sound good just thin. very good start for sure. keep it up!!

@crow steppa - not really a fan of mtalk type sounds... buut the second half of this wip i can say is pretty nice on the arrangement. :4: good start.

@acid rat - this intro makes me think of all the old games i used to play... very niiice. drop seems a bit chaotic for the build but very different for sure. just fatten everything up an do tons of variation on this one.

@antman - nice wobs in the intro.. a bit to verb imo. drop is very wobbly indeed. second drop is much smoother than the first! not bad, just a bit to much on the chaos factor.

@jizzman... lol - dark intro, i'd cut some of the lows on that intro synth and save the bass for the drop. i think what is the drop in this is very chill but sounds really awesome. i can hear some a very dark heavier side to this. the overall melody an flow of this is on point though man. an awesome track, props.

did some more work to this, but in case any of you missed it, check it out an let me know what you guys think.

@jimbeaux Intro sounds a little muddy but the rest sounds good to me

@Jizzman I really love the drums, love the vibe

@Antman Listened to both the snare definately is better in the 2nd

@tomkay13 I love the trancey synths but its really loud

@AcidRat Sounds good, maybe its just me but the build gets a little bit too high

Here's one I started today
