now imagine, you're new to the site, and finding your way around it, and straight away, someone tells you to go fuck yourself, or that your music's shit, or your artwork is crap....and this isn't even within SNH.

DSF isn't the bully den. Its not a secret club that a handful of regulars get to choose their own barometer for sarcasm, rudeness, antagonism and shouting. And that's not to say that everything needs to be happy and smiley within a web community context, but people that consistantly test the rules, ignore the moderators, and generally ram their personal agenda at people....they leave us no options going forward.

Trolling is 95% of the time, an issue of attention seeking and selfishness.

within reason, and again, as long as it hasn't become a personal agenda. the issue is that sarcasm on a global site....always difficult, always full of sensitivities. language, cultural and regional sensitivities.
