Fuck Mexico. I hope they get knocked out. The English recieved a harsh decision but they didn't rush the opposition bench. Unacceptable behaviour.

There's a difference between giving a fuck and being a tnuc.

If you give a fuck, you put your all into the game. You don't wait until half time then start a punch up. That's just blind rage. If they can't control themselves, they shouldn't be there.

Germany and Ghana getting through to the quarter finals has been my highlights the past couple of days. Mueller played like a man possessed.

Brazil are looking great at the moment. Once they started running down the flanks they really came to life. Michel Bastos seems to get better with every game. Nice to see Kaka improving. He's been a bit off so far despite playing a part in several goals.

Brazil's defense are probably the best in the tournament. They're very good on the attack too. Lucio, Maicon and Bastos keep making those big, charging runs down the centre and the flanks. Maicon not so much in this game but Lucio was always legging it through the center and the same for Bastos on the left.

Great game. Gutted Chile are out but they weren't very good tonight. They didn't seem to want to score. The amount of times they had the ball in the box and just passed it about or took too long with it was ridiculous.

Valdivia took way too much time to do anything, especially in the box.

It's refreshing to see the linesmen and referee make the right decisions. Looks like Englishmen are better officials than players.

they crushed chile. was so impressive to watch them play like they do.

very interested in spain and portugal. germany and argentina will be good to watch.

i wanna say i really never watched alot of football... however i played it as a kid. but watching these athletes play during this world cup has really sparked my interest in the sport much more so than ever before, they are incredible. the US (as a country) has never adopted this sport as a religion like the rest of the world... i think that's partly why the US team lost IMO. a lot of people from here don't have a makeshift rubberband ball since they were 3 years old kicking it around in the streets. i have always respected it as a sport because its a sport for everyone, its the people's sport. Its been fun to watch.

Really happy with Brazil's progress so far, although i do feel commentators are all to quick to sing their praises while overlooking certain flaws. Up until the 1st goal i was on the edge of my seat, Chile had most possession and were passing the ball well as Brazil started out with some difficulty keeping the ball while making some sloppy passes. I've yet to state confidently that Brazil will win it as i'm focusing on each game as it comes and i firmly believe no team is to be underestimated. Holland is a massive challenge ahead though, and i think if we can beat them we'll be in for a real chance.

For me, Portugal has the best defence i've seen so far. Conceded no goals where Brazil have conceded 2 so far and in Brazil Vs. Portugal last friday it was just about im possible to get through Portugal's defence. Speaking of which, i'm definitely excited about Portugal Vs. Spain tommorrow. I'm behind Portugal for this one and i really hope they can win. If they make use of that solid defence they're in for a good chance as it's how Switzerland managed it from my view, kept a tight defence and took advantage of the opportunity when it came to capitalise.

Juan and Lucio were brilliant this evening. Easily the best defence in the tournament, i can only see Argentina and Spain beating Brazil atm.
