Soundcloud

Done a bit more work to this one, has a bit more structure, played around with the levels and EQ, along with adding an intro and a few other elements. Let me know what you think to the track as a whole. Took onboard the comments that were on here, sorted out the harshness of the panning synth and added variation with the kick in places. Quite pleased with how different my sound is on this track.

P.s. ive given some more feedback on soundcloud.

projekt - electricity - Feelin the chill. This is the kinda stuff I love to listen to on DI with a cup of coffee in one hand and a splif in the other. Snares entrance is killer. Double check for clipping on the sub or work in a small descending pitch ramp to ease in the sub with the kick. Cool.

mmmsure - who is that - Its a good start but its very repetitive. If thats the mood you're going for its cool. Otherwise shorten the 'hook' and spread out the slow middle part throughout the song. This will allow you to create more movement. Work in some automation to your sounds (cutoff is usually a good start). Try to separate the sounds from the drums as well. Looking forward to hearing the final result!

MUT3 - marvel - Keep it chill!!! Sub bass is killer. If you're goin for that reggae jam you're on track!

Here is my wip. Workin in an ending. My biggest concern is not the levels but creating a proper sound stage along with the drums. Any input is appreciated.

@nnny
Dude the song is flawless ,except one thing i personally don't like , the snare , make it more punchy ,more wide , add more reverb i dunno, and then you'll have a sick track :D

@Cyberex cheers man. I like your's, industrial. I wish I had a set of speakers or headphones right now, cos I can't hear any bass really through the laptop, but what you got sounds solid mate.
Ta for the advice.

@Filthy, Like your name suggests mate youve got some diiirty brutal elements going down, maybe just try and add a slight melodic element to the track to really turn it into music as apposed to a filth exhibit. At the moment its Rape, Try turning it into Rough Sex instead

@nnny, really like your tracks mate especially your intro's. all i would say is maybe add a bit of variation just to keep the listener guessing, because your working with some reaally solid elements. also maybe a bit of velocity or quauntize variation on your drums to give them a less programed feel, because your mix is solid.

Would really appreciate some feed back on these cuts, 1st ones an original the other 2 are bootleg remix's, i'll post sum more feed back in a second

@Dr Bio, Reaaaallly impressive track, fuckin loving it! Just a cleaner mix after the drop (Get the drums cutting through a bit more with some EQing) and its a wrap.

Definitely could imagine that going off at a rave, well in!

Get @ me on soundcloud or AIM and send through some of your dubs aswell dude

@hyperianuk Cheers man, appreciate it lots :) Yeah, after I get the the point of were I am, I find it hard to vary my tracks up. I'm not sure where to take them atm, I like them, but they deffo feel a little unfinished to me in that respect.

Your tracks. Love them all, especially the paramore one. Only things I have to say about it; When the synth kicks in during the intro, seems to come in very abruptly or something, maybe start it slightly earlier, and automate the volume of it so it rises?
The bass I find needs to be turned down a little throughout the song, harder to hear the lyrics during the song, but love it mate :)
Intro's sick on the veronica one.

@sulyhak Listened to both tunes on your soundcloud there. I prefer Going on. The tunes aren't exactly my style, but well produced. Some nice basses and automation/variation in there too. Props.

Only the two feedbacks cos I posted about other peoples above.

Here's a newer version of mine. Sub, I can assure you will be well off. I can't hear it to play about with it, so let me know...
I'm really struggling with getting some variation in my tune to make it more enjoyable to listen to..

Thanks for the feedback! @MUT3 The intro isn't sampled, its an acoustic guitar sound played by a midi keyboard, along with other stuff I made from scratch.

@projekt - im liking the nice and chilled vibe mate sounds nice. im loving drums and the variations good job :)

@century sam - the intro isnt to bad i liked that but then it got all abit mad and crowded for me. the drums need to come out more, more low end on the kick and the snare sounds a bit harsh on the ears. the track has good potential with the variating basses though :)

@DrBio - shiiit i like that, sounds proper good man loving the bass and the melody over the top. after the drop though i think you could make a bit more of a clear sound and make it slightly less distorted. top notch work though man.

heres mine, went for a reggae dub kinda vibe so have a chill and listen :) feeback will be appreciated :)

@phenlight Have to give feedback each time you post a new track mate. The tracks mellow, sounds nice. Like the drums and how they enter. Nice atmosphere, but it does seem a bit empty. Vocal samples are nice. Not too keen on the bass.
