Turns out the quest to get the house there is broken to. You would have thought that within the three patch's bethesda have released they would have at least sorted out these ones.
Is that on the ps3 or pc? Because ive had no problems whatsoever with the xbox version apart from some minor glitches but nothing thats harmed gameplay.
On xbox aswell, i've done a little research on the interwebs and it turns out that if you visit the cave with the suppliers and kill them before receiving the quest you can't complete it. Though theres apparently a work around, the enemies and loot in areas respawn so you can wait for like a month in the game for them to come back. Im not quite sure who i've killed to mess up the windhelm quest but im thinking i'll have to restart the game again, im level 52 aswell. :(

You got to talk to the stewards that hang out near the Jarl's

I got a house in Riften pretty easy after putting in some work with the thieves guild.

Collect any enchanted items you find and disenchant them to fill up your enchantment 'library' (At worst, sell it on for some easy money if you already have the enchantment available.) Simultaneously, or once you've got a few accessible enchantments, collect every little piece of apparel or weaponry you come across and enchant all of it before selling on. I could be completely wrong, but I don't think I've noticed any difference in skill increase between which enchantment or item you're using. (Money is a whole other story however.)

That does seem pretty obvious, but I managed to unintentionally have enchanting well above any other skill on an otherwise evenly spread character by doing that and that alone. Hopefully someone else can come through with the technicalities, or even some shortcut in the vein of the iron dagger for smithing.

(On a side note, I've always thought smithing was pronounced 'sm-eyething' until an NPC mentioned it in game. Anybody that can relate?)

Yeah enchanting levels up stupidly quickly. Takes so much less time than smithing and alchemy.

Not done enough quests yet to get a place anywhere apart from Whiterun. Not counting the Wizard's School. I hear Markarth's good.

Got it today. I played for like a couple hours, minimized, black screen, quit, explored other gifts.

Markarth is pretty as fuck, and I've done quite a few of my favourite quests there (The forsworn and thieves guild ones in particular). You also get two daedric quests there, so that's a bonus.

Tried to buy this today. Sold out everywhere or I'd have to pay £45 (or even £129 for the special edition :corntard: )

The one thing I want to buy over the entire festive period goes UP in price in the SALE. Fuck commerce.

Them Ancient Dragons are hard as FUCK to solo, their breath attacks almost one shot me. I've made a habit of travelling everywhere on Shadowmere now though cos he aggros the dragon and is invincible.
