Look, as far as we know, our asymmetrically coiffed party pal has never held a guitar in his life. But no contemporary musician has a more primal understanding of adrenaline-pumping, pulse-raising, chest-caving bulldozer riffs than dubstep mosh ambassador Skrillex. Somewhere between the unfiltered piston-pumps of nü-metal and the twinkling emocore melodies that weaned him is a gaping sarlacc of yawping melodies and buzzsaw edges. The bass drop to "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" might just be this generation's "Smoke on the Water"

I'm not, but they had the sick production too.
Glass wrote:^^YES!

Some of their tear-out is good too though.

They make some tunes that I don't prefer, but I think they're fucking all-stars. Creative, tight productions, versatile, and they have a sense of humor (chainsaw calligraphy is jokes).
This > All other noisey brostep ever. EVER. I MEAN IT.

If you dont get a little visceral kick out of that, then i dunno... .

I found a way to get piece of mind for years and left the hell alone, turn a deaf ear to the cellular phone

was sitting at an intersection today and a group for 40 YO men roll up next me blasting skrilley man. I chuckled and turned up my stereo( i was listening to Archangel) then one of them rolls down the window and scream DUBSTEP IS BETTER!. heres where my bostonian driver kicks in. I cranked Burial as loud as i could and as soon the light went green i speed up and cut them off because the lanes were merging.
